I've had various KVM switches over the years, with varying degrees of success. This one though is the business and works flawlessly. I should say that I use separate wireless mice for the two computers; I share just the keyboard and monitor.

It's a well-thought out piece of kit, given its size. The ports are located sensibly so most of the cables run out the back. I just have 2 x bluetooth dongles in the front, which are inobtrusive, although my webcam does have to run from the front so I have a cable running out that way too, which is not ideal. It's a nice touch that it comes with a wired remote, so you could hide the unit altogether. One gripe is that the plastic switch to swap between devices is a bit flimsy, but the most important issue is that it's not 100% reliable and for no obvious reason. When switching between devices, it will work around 7 out of 10 times, but the other 3 it appears to switch, then reverts back to the device you were already on. It does this regardless of whether the device being switched to is in any sleep mode or not. It's an odd issue and one that reduces my satisfaction with the device. If you can tolerate having to press it a few times every now and then, then it's a worthwhile purchase at this price.

At £50, it's quite expensive for a KVM but it does the job of switching between two computers rock-solidly in testing, so can't complain really.

Does what it says, a bit disappointed that it wont do 10bpc colour depth when running at 4k 60Hz though.Suggestion:- If you're having issues with flickering then play around with your system settings it seems that this will only work with what you could call out of box settings, nothing fancy.

I've never used one of these before but it's solved an issue I was having when testing PCs. I would have to unplug my own rig, my mouse & keyboard and then hook up the PCs, then repeat the process to use my own.With this you can share your equipment and screen. It is simple to use. You just connect the HDMIs to your GPU out on both and also connect that same PC with the usb cable included. You don't get HDMIs but you obviously have them anyway to connect ordinarily.You then have the ability to just use the same mouse, keyboard and any other equipment. That can be connected on the USB 3.0 side of the device.The switcher allows you to change between each pc via the switch button. Both PCs can be easily switched between and the beauty is you only need one screen, one keyboard, mouse etc.I've had zero issues with it. No dropouts with the screen and everything responds just as you would expect when using directly.It supports up 7680x4320 at 60hz and also does 4k up 120hz. I haven't been able to confirm these as my screen is 4k 60hz and locked in via my GPU but the information within my settings matches so far.I needed this as I do a lot of repairing and it's I normally have to swap everything over from mine to the device I'm working on. I don't like clutter, so I don't use multiple keyboard's etc. It's saved me a lot of time and keeps my desk clear too.This would be an excellent solution if you only have desk space for one pc but there's two of you using that area. Many years ago my partner had their own pc which they used for their uni work and it meant having double the equipment on the desk so they could use that space. With this it would allow you to have both PCs but only need one keyboard and mouse.

Ho due macchine una con windows e una con linux ed ho preso questo KVM per gestirle entrambe con una sola tastiera / video / mouseI KVM senza EDID su linux mi davano qualche problema perchè alle volte il video non si "riavviava", oppure mi sballavano la risoluzione, con questo invece nessun problema.Funziona bene, fa lo switch in 2/3 secondi, e anche con tastiera / mouse wireless e scheda audio usb collegate si comporta molto bene.Unico problema che ho notato non funziona bene con l'adaptive framerate abilitato sul monitor, quindi ho dovuto disabilitarlo. Credo che se userò qualche videogame (è raro) lo riabiliterò manualmente.Io però l'ho provato su due sistemi windows / linux, potrebbe essere che su due sistemi windows / windows funzioni benissimo.

Insofern: Top!Ein Hinweis sei jedoch gestattet: Schließt man ein Notebook an einen großen Bildschirm an, also z.B. einen 30-Zöller, dann heißt das nicht, dass man auch die gesamte Bildschirmfläche zur Verfügung hat. Das funktioniert nur, wenn das Notebook die entsprechende Auflösung bereitstellen kann - und das können nicht alle.

Comparto teclado, ratón y monitor con dos ordenadores, ahorro de espacio. Me gusta que el hdmi del monitor va en la parte posterior con todos los cables, así no molesta. Delante solo tengo usb de teclado y ratón que sin inalambricos, así no tengo cables en la parte frontal.

Fonctionne très bien, télécommande en qualité douteuse cependant. J’ai eu beaucoup de mal à le faire marcher car une de mes deux UC ne voulait pas s’afficher sur l’écran j’ai donc du mettre un vga-hdmi pour que ça fonctionne
