Genuine Fred FRESH PINT, Milk Carton Fridge Deodorizer

If I want to put baking soda in my fridge, it might as well make me smile when i see it. It’s sturdy, it’s cute.

This review is for the GENUINE FRED Milk Carton Fridge Deodorizer. I received a free taxable sample of this baking soda container to review in my search for a fun way to keep my refrigerator odor-free.The deodorizer arrived in a branded and decorated paper box with full-color picture of the product on the front and two sides with social media information and simple line drawings on the back illustrating use and benefits. I liked the old-timey look to certain fonts as well as on the product and had a small chuckle at the "milkin' it" punny reference above the "Fred" logo on the back of the box.There are two pieces to the deodorizer: the main container body and a ventilated spout lid that sits on top of the container body. The container body has a square base measuring about 2 3/4" square that then rises almost 2" in height to give it a capacity a little over a half pint. The outer base dimensions of the ventilated spout lid are identical to that of the container body except for an 1/8" inner section with two slightly protruding bars that allows the lid to fit snugly into the container body, and a permanently open "spout" section that protrudes about 1" away from the main body of the deodorizer. The lid rises 2" above the container body once the lid is seated to give the deodorizer a total height of 3 3/4". The deodorizer is constructed of a sturdy white BPA plastic with a matte finish and has a total weight of 52 grams.There is a nice old-timey look and good solid feel to the deodorizer that speaks of simpler times. The old-timey look is accentuated by the basic color palette (red, pastel blue grey, white) and the simple lettering and overall design. The nutrition facts/"good to know" section really brought a smile to my face with the list of ingredients being represented as: a li'l this (50%), a li'l that (50%), natural fun (99%), added fun (1%). On the practical actual use side, the product works as advertised by being easy to fill with baking soda and the ventilated permanently open spout design is a clever way to expose the odor-neutralizing baking soda to the circulating refrigerator air. I liked that the deodorizer is sized smaller than your typical baking soda box, which allowed me to place it on the smaller shelf with my chicken eggs versus having to set a normal baking soda box on its side and risk spillage.All in all, the GENUINE FRED deodorizer is a well-built and fun way to store baking soda. I would recommend this as a fun container to consider when using baking soda to deodorize your fridge.

Genuine Fred Fresh Pint Milk Carton Fridge Deodorizer is an adorable way to always ensure that your fridge smells fresh and free of odors. The non-toxic plastic pieces are BPA Free. The half pint carton looks even cuter in person than the product photos available on its Amazon page. The top is easy to lift making the filling and emptying of the container a breeze. Where the container has an opening, I was happy to find a covering reminiscent of a pegboard made up of a series of equal sized circles. The piece is solidly built and adds a sense of fun to the unsung workhorse of the refrigerator. The sky blue and regal red colors are bright and vibrant. The only negative I have for this product is that I wish that the spot where it notes "best by" was an area where I could confidently write the date with a dry erase marker of when I refilled/cleaned the piece. I feel that it would be a useful detail. I do not feel that it is a dry-erase friendly material and honestly don't want to attempt to write on the box and permanently mark it. The manufacturer noted that this piece can only be hand washed and not for use in the microwave. The pieces required minimal effort to clean. This is a wonderful gift to give for a housewarming, new apartment, or for a host/hostess gift. It is Made in China. If you are familiar with the Fred products, you know that as whimsical as each product design is, it is incredibly useful.

This Fred Fresh Pint is so good! First of all, I think it is hilarious that the one thing keeping my fridge from being smelly is an open pint of milk! Very cheeky! Second, this thing actually works! The top half of the carton easily comes off to fill the bottom half with baking soda. When you put the top back on, the holes in the carton opening are what do the work to keep things fresh. Give it a little shake here and there to freshen things up and replace the baking soda when shaking up doesn't work anymore. Easy to use, easy to clean and so funny to spot in the fridge. So much better than the janky orange box!

This is is cute. Definitely an upgrade from a plain old baking soda box in your fridge. This gives your fridge deodorizing game a facelift. It adds character to your refrigerator and is a charming addition to your unique kitchen decor.

This is an item I didn't know I needed until I saw it! Why have I left open baking soda in an ugly orange box in my fridge all this time when I could have had this? It is cute as can be and refillable- you're not buying this item over and over again to deodorize. You just put your regular baking soda in here and you're done.This is absolutely an unnecessary necessity. If you're someone who loves a cute item, likes things to be aesthetically pleasing, or just gets bothered by disorganization, this is such a fun little item. And who thought anything about fridge deodorizing could be fun?This would be a perfect gift for a recent grad moving into their own place this fall, or a little housewarming gift for a friend!

Love this little fridge deodorizer container. Simply fill with baking soda, put the lid on and it adds a little whimsy to the fridge while helping get rid of fridge odors. It's sturdy too and well made.

I have always just put the baking soda boxes in my fridge and freezer, but now I can pour them in this adorable container! It arrived in tact and without issue. Opens easily and the lid sits atop without falling. Little vents on the lid allow air flow. Lightweight and has a small profile that allows it sit conveniently on any shelf in your refrigerator. Hand washed and air dried without issue.
