I love these towels for many reasons. They are super absorbent they are beautifully woven and have gorgeous vibrant colors. I was pleasantly surprised how absorbent they really are and how fast they dry after use!!! When washed they take less than half the time to dry which is a major unexpected eco-friendly bonus! I purchased them to use in my bathroom. My only downfall is they are rather large more like the size of a bath sheet so they are not easily displayed for decoration but wonderful for drying. Definitely worth your money.Great for home, poolside, beach or picnic. I’ve even used them as a wrap/shaw on the front porch while I have my morning coffee. Very versatile!

I'll be honest. These took a bit of getting used to because we were so used to thick, heavy towels. My husband was skeptical but we're in our 4th week or so and we both really like these towels. They dry very quickly and don't get that mildewy, gym smell that heavier towels get when damp. They're long and wide...nice. I followed the directions and washed them with a cup of white vinegar - that helps break them in. I did find that the tassels got all twisted together in the washer and dryer, so I snipped off about the long ends of the tassels, leaving about 1/2" past the knot - I actually like this look better than the long tassels. I also bought the package of hand towels. Now I'm ready to get rid of all my heavy old towels. These Turkish towels are real keepers.

I was looking for something different for our camping adventures and I found it in these lovely towels. We camp throughout the summer and I looked for towels that would pack well, dry fast, and feel wonderful. These fit the bill. I bought 4 of these for our camper and they are extremely utilitarian. We use them to warm us by a campfire, they are amazing to dry dishes, and they still look amazing after an entire season. We wash them in cold and line dry them and they are softer than the first day of use and as vibrant as they were coming out of the box.

I love Turkish towels. The size is great. They don't absorb like terrycloth, so they take getting used to in the bathroom. At the pool, they are awesome. They dry very quickly. At the beach, the sand shakes right out, if they are dry. Terrycloth towel hang on to sand like glue. They are great for traveling. Very light. I read some reviews that there was shrinkage but I had no problem.

I love these towels! They dry super fast when washed and I can fit many in a beach bag just in case I need extra. We used them so much that I had to order more for the demand at our house by the water. I now don't bring big thick beach towels for the beach anymore as these dry fast and are lighter.

Update, August 28, 2019:The second set of towels sent to me are ruined. They lasted three months of very light use. Upon washing, the towels' tassles become snarled, just like the first order I received. I tried cutting the tassles shorter, too. This second shipment towels were only occasionally used, hence my slow update. They are in the trash!Update, May 27th, 2019:On April 30th, more than 8 months after posting the review below, the seller of these towels contacted me, offering to send me a replacement set of towels (including a set of four hand towels), after they were able to duplicate the negative experience I had with their own towels—and after switching manufacturers. I work in sales, so I know changing a supply line can take time and effort.After washing the new towels once, the towels didn't end up tangled (a big change), but I again discovered large amounts of lint. In fairness, they're towels, and one should expect lint with new towels. I stopped using a dryer for my clothing more than two years ago (my clothes now last a very long time before wearing out), which means new towels must be manually brushed of lint, a big commitment in time. Cleaning lint from these new towels and hand towels took me about three and a half hours hours.The new towels look great, are of the same substantial weight (for Peshtemal towels), and are washing with much better results so far. I very much appreciate the customer service I eventually received, and the efforts they took to try to solve my problem. If there any changes, I'll update my review again. So far, so good!August 17, 2018:I really wanted to like these Peshtemal towels. They dry rapidly, though they're a slightly heavier weight than other Peshtemal towels. They look great. The problem is that the tassels hopelessly tangle with every wash. Today they came out of my washer in one long chain. After carefully cutting away knots, I've had it. The ends of the towels itself, are coming undone, the threads near the tassels. I would cut off the knotted tassels if I didn't think these towels would fall apart.There's also the stunning amount of lint that these towels were shipped with. I expect lint with new textiles, but these are in another order altogether. I've spent so much time trying to brush these towels free of lint. So much time dealing with every laundry load of towels. They're all in the trash, now.

Bought the white and navy bath towels. Washed them twice and dried them on low before use. After using them for almost two weeks the corners or our bathroom floor and toilet lid are covered with a fine layer of blue lint, and any time we shower we are also covered with blue lint that pills up into little blue balls. Really annoying. I will try washing them with white vinegar a couple times before we use them again, but if that fails I'll just throw them away and avoid this brand in the future. FWIW, if they didn't shed they'd be great towels.

I bought these towels because I live in a very humid climate. A thick towel does not dry overnight so I use Turkish towels 6 months of the year. Yes, they are thin but that is the purpose of them. They absorb beautifully. These towels did have a peculiar odor right out of the package but I washed them with detergent and vinegar which took the smell away. They also were a little scratchy but have really softened with each wash. I wash in cold water and pull out of the dryer while they are still a little damp. There has been minimal shrinkage. Because they are thin I plan to pack one in my carry on to use as a blanket for a 12 hr flight. I ordered the navy color and they are really a true navy.

I like them and the price is reasonable.

Highly absorbent and quick drying. Everything you want in a Turkish towel!
