OMG, it is very seldom I make a purchase that is this satisfying, nor like posting reviews. My 2005 Toyota is pretty much technology-less and that is the only thing making me think of a new car. It runs great, but man it would be nice to have Apple Carplay, I used to think. NOW, I HAVE IT!!! When I bought this product, I thought, no way this is going to work, especially with that affordable price. IT WORKS!!! I now have google maps and spotify and audio texting, which I didn't even realize how nice that was. I did not install the camera, maybe later. Only two complaints, the instructions for installing the camera are not very clear. And, the audio quality is sometimes an issue. Although I think this is more of an app issue. I did get a nicer insulated audio cord to connect the unit to the stereo, and that helped. With the help of a few Youtube videos, I learned how to dismantle a few parts of my car to hide the cords. While this is not necessary, it is nice to have the cords out of the way. Most apps sound great, there are a few that need to be turned up very high. Again, I think that is more an issue of how the program was recorded, etc and not the Apple Carplay. All in all, this product has TRANSFORMED the way I drive! Oh, and NOW, my iPhone can be charging. Before, I could connect the iPhone to my stereo to listen only or charge, NOT both. Grrr, that was annoying. Not anymore. Phone charges while sending Bluetooth to the Carplay unit! Sweet!!!! Do NOT hesitate, buy this product. You will be amazed!!!! Love it!!!!

Works great first 2 weeks, then the google maps got stock very often. After the 3rd week the screen start flickering.It is a shame. I was in love with this product.

Pros:-Low price point for wireless Carplay and Android Auto-Touchscreen and software generally respond well, and have little to no lag on them-Sound quality with the bluetooth and radio receiver is good when there's no radio interference- Initial setup and pairing was relatively easy with both iphone and android phoneCons:-Screen is not that bright. Hard to see if there's sunlight or a reflection on it- Radio receiver interface is a pain to use. Presets can't be changed and only have even numbered frequencies, so you can't use them if your car radio only uses odd numbered bands. Switching between stations uses a slider that's clumsy to fiddle with, especially if you're driving.- Frequent trouble connecting with phones, especially when switching from one phone to another. Need to frequently restart device before it will recognize and connect to a phone it's set up with.- Included stand is cheap and wobblyOverall it gets the job done if you're looking for a cheap way to get carplay or android auto in your car without having to install a whole new receiver. But expect to get what you pay for.

I have a 2008 Chrysler and it is not equipped with Android Auto. Saw this and thought... buying this would be cheaper than a new car and I love my convertible so.... It's nice when it works out like you hoped. This unit is easy to connect. As soon as my car starts, this unit connects and I'm off. I am using the AUX cord (included with the unit instead of FM radio) so the sound from my phone is fine. The unit is responsive.The included dashboard bracket is a bit tricky so you might need to fiddle with it a bit so that the unit clicks on the bracket and it stays attached to your dashboard. It took me about 5 or 6 different poses to finally find the one that works so that the unit stays attached while driving.All in all, I'm happy with the purchase.
