the material is thick and this dress is well made. It looks proper and sophisticated. Nice for weddings, nice restaurants, or other such functions. The arm holes are good and the length to the hem is good. It is somewhat short to the waist. My daughter just used a wider belt to hide the waist seam riding too high. It might be perfect for a girl with a shorter torso.
