It fits perfectly.
I purchased the aluminum version of this tool and it snapped in half after changing the filter only two times. This one is much more sturdy and it fits over the oil filter cap nice and snug.

Not for 2.4 or 2.5 liter Scion or Toyota
3 stars because of incorrect listing, 5 for the tool.This fits only the 1.8 liter Toyota motor. The filter housing on larger displments is larger in diameter. The tool looks of decent quality and they do offer the larger tool at just a couple bills more. Ordering the larger one today. For DIY I would recommend this tool. One benefit is the 1/2 drive allowing a 3/8 extension to fit through to aid in getting the filter drain cap off.

BROKE THE FILTER CAP!
Using this tool blew a hole in my filter cap when a tab broke off. The cap tabs really shouldn't be used as a leverage point unless they all engage at exactly the same time as the faceted section of the cap. This tool appears to only have engaged one of the tabs putting the entire twisting force on that tab. You can see the results.3 days and $50 later, I had a new metal filter cap for my Rav4 and a new tool (Motiv MX2320) that just engaged the faceted section of the now damaged cap. It was a precise, very snug fit and I was able to remove the dealer over-tightened cap.Nice price ( $11 vs $29) but if it doesn't work and damages the thing it's supposed to remove, what good is it. Had I bought the expensive tool that worked first, I would have been money, time and frustration ahead.
