I'm writing this review straight off of the back of trying this product for the first time on my bike, and all I can say is wow!I never knew I needed something so much until after I'd bought it, but I can't see me ever riding in the cold without it, in fact, this vest will keep me riding for longer during those cold months, now that I have something to combat the cold, that's how effective it is!Just to give you an idea of the conditions I used the vest in, it's currently about 9°C outside, which isn't too bad if you're just walking around, but on a bike, with the wind hitting you, it can soon start to get chilly.The garment is nice and thin, I compared multiple vests and wanted something as thin as possible so I could wear it under my motorcycle jacket which has an insulated layer. The idea being that this would be the most effective way of using it, having the vest as a heat source, and using my motorcycle jackets built in liner to retain that heat. It worked amazingly, so well that I had to turn the vest down to the lowest setting! This is great news, as I know as the weather gets colder I've got plenty of headroom for increasing the temperature.The garment is very nice, the fabric is nice and soft, and surprisingly warm even when powered off. Stitching is of good quality, and the fit is perfect. I'm normally a medium, but was a little wary of ordering a medium, as I have seen on similar products that sizing guides for these jackets tend to be more for the Chinese market, but I bit the bullet and ordered a medium anyway and it's prefect. You want the jacket to be snug, so the heating elements make good contact with your body (I wore it over a thin t-shirt), but not too tight that it's uncomfortable, and it's spot on.I paired the jacket with a 10,000mah battery, and after roughly 4 hours of riding on the lowest setting I only dropped 1 bar out of 4 on the battery, so to hazard a guess you'd be looking at 12-16 hours on the lowest setting? Not bad! I doubt I'd need that level of battery life unless touring, so for day to day use, depending on which heat setting you use, you could probably get away with a 5,000mah battery and cut down on the bulky battery.If you're on the fence about whether or not to buy one, especially if you're wondering how effective it would be on a motorcycle then I say go for it! It's one of the most cost effective accessories you'll ever buy for £20!

I am very pleased with this gilet, the material is good quality and it is well made with good zips. I washed it as soon as it arrived by hand and let it drip dry over our bath. It took a good two days to dry completely. The heating pads heat quickly and are nice and warm , I think the best way to use it is to put it under jumpers and coats which will keep the heat in. I think wearing it as a outer layer you will lose the warmth. I am a size 10 to 12 and the medium is a perfect fit.

For cold shopwork when it takes chief execs in a global company to authorise switching the heating on in a single outlet (?!?!) You need take health concerns into your own hands. Gloves, Merino wool leggings, USB handwarmers are all tried and trusted methods. But now seeing technology catch up and allow us to wear smart clothes we can relax... Woo Hoo. My partner's never a three XL, but ordered to cater for smaller clothes sizes. "Lovely soft feel and comfortable" she says initially. Attached a 7,500mAh unit and within a few minutes on the lower settings the warmth was drenching through. Don't want it too warm on the lowest as a work top plus fleece will be the bread to this sandwich filling. Nice and thin material to not bulk things out. You can buy waterproof puffa types but this is ideal. Simple and obvious operation, this could be our saviour!!!!Only frown is why such a small powerbank capacity is recommended, we'll try and monitor how much it uses on a day for whether a smaller/lighter one than our Anker is best, it's not that bulky to begin with, but one of their lipstick models might be easier.Overall, quality seems fine, will update if any reliability issues, looks great and came next day.Thanks Hopai, we did a Google for the best and this was on the top of the list, seems to be correct so far.

Spotty warming, slow on uptake, wouldn't recommend

Bought this for my sister who is always cold and layers up with chunky sweaters. She loves it. It keeps her warm and cozy. Great value for money.Only slight niggle is that the sizes run small. So upsize.

The item was too small against UK sizes it needs to be ordered at 3-5 sizes larger. Returned for refund as there isn't a size big enough available from this supplier.

Ordered this item normally i am XXL but ordered an XXX L, guess what still too small, if ordering order at least two sizes bigger. To be fair it is of decent quality and does work well. Gave it to my son as it fitted him better.

This item hasnt been used yet as it is a Xmas present. I tested it and all working fine.
