Bob Graham Round Map: Lakeland Fells

This didn't in any way meet my expectations - it simply exceeded them in every possible way. As a regular Harvey's map user, I am familiar with the feel and look at the maps, but the layout of this one is spectacular. Add in the benefit of certain annotations to help when navigating and it just becomes invaluable.OS maps are brilliant but bulky, where this just shows what is necessary, and it is so light. A real boon somewhere where every ounce counts.Paddy Buckley next... I just need to improve my swimming to do it properly!!

Exactly as described; waterproof paper and the route of the Bob Graham round clearly marked. Also includes some really useful information for who to contact for further details. Also some basic but crucial elements such as which direction (clockwise/anti clockwise)to head in, timings and places to meet your support.

After using the map for a 3/4 days recce hike in the Lakes the map is already showing signs of age.The folds are whitening out, many details disappear there.

Promptly dispatched and received, it's the standard Harvey map, mind it appears a tad delicate while proclaiming "lightweight to carry" but presumably could be easier stuffed in a pocket (says "waterproof" also) if you don't mind risking a bit tatty.Very pleased with the service from Meteodale Technologies.

Bought this as a gift and have re-kindled a desire for them to complete the round, lovely place in the world and well worth the money just to get people up on the most beautiful mountains in the world
