I just received my cable today and I was able to put the phone in EDL mode in no time no disassembling to get to the test points !! Just make sure that you connect the cable to a USB port and not on a hub I made that mistake and the phone kept connecting and disconnecting as soon as I connected it to a USB port on my computer (no hub) the connection was solid

This cable makes entering EDL mode much easier than having to deconstruct the phone in order to get to the test points. Just make sure to double check the processor in the phone your looking to use it on before you buy to avoid disappointment.
