Fingerpower - Level 5: Effective Technic for All Piano Methods (Schaum Publications Fingerpower(R))

A must have for all piano students! From the primer Fingerpower book to level 6, these are a must have for all piano students. While this series has been around for some time, I've only recently discovered it. I find it's helping my students with dexterity, using the proper fingering, sight reading, timing and more. The exercises are fairly short, but as students progress, so does the level of difficulty in these great books. I have been teaching piano for over ten years, playing for many more, and think these books should be required for all of my students. Also, they don't get bored with the execises because they aren't too long. Excellent and very helpful in all aspects of piano playing. With carpal tunnel, I find these books very helpful at working my hands and fingers. Excellent books and highly recommended!

I Like this book and book 4 too, and try to use every day and you will see results, I play jazz styles and these are very good for good jazz technique, change up the articulations and, swing the notes, and metronome on 2 and 4.

The finger power books are great teaching tools. Wonderfull for technique and finger strengthening. I have books P-5, and have used them for years. I especially like the large print. The best thing about the finger power books is that they can be used for very early beginners starting with the primer, and every new techniqje is introduced very gradually. Once a person reaches level 5 they should be a pretty accomplished pianist.

Great series for piano students, especially when having them practice with a metronome to gain speed.

This book arrived and appears to be used. It is bent and in bad shape. The other books are all fine. My wife is a piano teacher and can not give this to one of her students.
