Simple and effective
This product is a simply a sturdy switchboard with extension cord, made with commercially available switches and sockets. Even if any of the switches fail, one would be able to replace it. After seeing fancy power strips from various brands fail over the years, I expect this to be a durable alternative. Also I do not miss features like surge protection (as UPS covers it) and USB charging (as the phone charger is good enough).A tester has been sent along with the product to confirm ourselves that the board is in working condition, which is nice.There is however some scope for improvement: The extension cord exits the board from bottom right, and it would have been neater if it had exited from the top.
