Poor fit
Really large and uncomfortable.I've won the old version for years. These promised improved ergonomics. But they're far less comfortable than the originals. I've already bought new shin pads.

nice design and nicely constructed
My sig other plays slow pitch softball and bought these, unfortunately, AFTER, taking one to the shin that took months to heal. These are nicely made equipment, but just so small. They are very stiff, which I understand is needed to be good protection, but the largest size which David bought are molded in such a narrow width that he has to bang them onto his legs and they still wont go down onto the shin area, they actually grad his calf and remain about an inch or more out from his shin. If they had fit properly I would give them 5 stars, but he is not a large man so to have the largest size still way too small is disappointing. It would also be nice if there was a lower strap but he is now just tucking the bottom into his sock and using the one strap on the top of the shield.

Too Narrow - Not for Adults
These would be excellent shinguard if they weren’t so narrow. These are more for tall teenagers or people with very thin calves. I’m extremely brand loyal to TK and my previous size Large TK shinguards were perfect, so I’m disappointed in these. I’ll be switching to a brand that offers a reasonable shinguard width.
