The product arrived in time but it does take a long time and its curled up for ease of packing. Its as expected but needs to be softened to flatten it out, I rested it on top of a hot radiator and its now fine. 4 star rating because its not ready for use on arrival.

Obtained it for home use and very pleased with the ivory colour. It is a very heavy duty cable protector; comes with double sided tape to hold it in place although the weight of the product is such that it is not really needed on carpets. The ends, when new, have a tendency to curl down somewhat. This was solved by insertion of 6 inches or so of a rigid bar into the ends.

Just what we were looking for

I received this over a week before it was due from New Jersey, USA. We chose this primarily for it's colour to match our carpet and it's purpose is to carry surround sound speakers cables. I've encountered the same problems as everybody else in that it comes rolled up and it will take some time to flatten; trying weight first, then I'll try hot water if that doesn't work. But hold on, .......One problem I do have with this product is the CANCER WARNING!!! On the back of the box is a warning, stating; "This product contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm."It doesn't state what the chemical is, didn't mention any handling recommendations, environmental conditions etc. There was no warning on the Amazon website but it's not sold by them. The seller didn't include a warning on the Amazon webpage.Does warming it to soften it to a flat state release the chemical? Putting it in hot water for the same reason, does that release the chemical. Does direct sunlight? I'm no expert on this subject but I'm pretty sure I should have been told or given information to make an informed decision. I don't even know if this chemical in this product is legal in the UK? Look out for updates! If there is nothing to worry about I will edit my review.17th February 2018Despite several attempts to find out what the dangerous chemical is, the seller has failed to disclose the information. Emails are being ignored. Amazon say they are investigating but they too have no information for me. Is this product deemed safe/unsafe in the UK? I've no idea! Nobody will say.

Purchased this cover to create a channel between my wall and sofa table. It's perfect! It blends in well with my light-colored wood floors and it says put despite all my dog and my efforts to displace it with our constant movement. Easy to place the cord in the channel, and once it straightened out with a little help with some weights on either end, it has been PERFECT.

Roomba vacuum failed to go over this cord protector. It is too steep. The robot vacuum will get stuck at the peak of the cord protector and waste a lot of energy trying to go over. In addition there is a gap between the floor and cord protector. It causes the side brush of the robot vacuum to get stuck and break.
