Not sure what you mean by the number of packs. But, there is only enough for one application. There is also a protective creme included. I love it. This product made my hair very soft. The softess that my hair has ever been after a perm.

This is beyond shrinkflation

I love this make as it was good to my hair. returning to relaxer after a hiatus. Reducing the sachets from 6 packets to one is mind blowing. The only positive thing is there is a neutralising shampoo. I cannot relax my hair with this . I will need a minimum of 4 , as my hair is thick. Too expensive and a waste of money. Returning. should have read the reviews .
