I got a bbe acoustimax and really liked how it sounded but the power supply died. So I was planning to get bbe to fix it, well life happens and the acoustimax stayed in its box for over 3 years and then I bought this ac adapter and now it is back in action. I am glad I didn’t use a 12 volt dc adapter I had since the acoustimax needs ac to ac power supply and that’s what this is. Also the design of this unit is better since unlike the wall wart it only takes one plug space

I barely used this product, maybe once a week. It was hooked into power on a shelf where our sound equipment was and was not moved and neither were those items. After moving it twice, I noticed the ends were already pulling out of the brick. Mind you, I handle things gently and carefully. I’m shocked these ends came apart and the wires split so easily. Less than a year of use.Very disappointing. Go another route. Wish I did
