Bought it out of curiosity more than anything else. Looks like someone is trying to reinvent the wheel......however I have now used it everyday for a month or two and it does make great sense. Holds the hammer nicely with the spring loaded clip being just the right weight to snap shut properly.Would buy again.

Flimsy
I work as a site carpenter. Needed a hammer loop. This one is a)not robust, 2)squeaks every step you take, drove my colleagues nuts, 3) hammer falls out when crouching as the surface pushes it out of the holder and 4)not made well. Sadly, Bahco are hit and miss. However, there saw files are EXCELLENT so dont be afraid to try them at least!

Crap
Ordered this and had it for 1 week... my hammer fell straight off the scaffold along with the loop. This item isn’t worth a pound it’s terrible. Don’t buy this rubbish you will regret it trust me !
