I used this last when I came down with the flu. It was very accurate and I was able to report my temperature right to dr. ImpressiveNot expensive.

I needed a better thermometer for monitoring health issues with rabbits, and gave this a shot. I took it to the vet to test against their in-ear thermometers, and this one gave the same results as the vet's. I have several senior rabbits who have periodic health problems, including one recovering from an infection. This thermometer helps me better monitor their overall health.The thermometer is very easy to use and to read the results. It also works quickly, which I'm glad of as the buns don't always like having a piece of plastic on their ear.

Finally a thermometer that has consistent readings when checking multiple times in a row. I've been through 3 or 4 that were "on sale" in the last couple of years and all have been duds. Happy we finally got a thermometer that does what it should

This consistently reads 2 degrees low. No matter how many times I change the batteries, it always gives a low battery warning. This is a very unreliable product, sadly. You have to take multiple readings and compare with another thermometer...so why bother with this one?

When I first received this thermometer about 7 months ago, it seemed to read accurately. In fact, I purchased another a few days after receiving it. Now it typically reads around 94° for normal body temperature. I am not sure what has changed. I tried changing the batteries, but that did not make any difference and checking the original batteries I found them to be fully charged. Now I cannot rely on this thermometer as it does not appear to be close to accurate.

I run my reviews on the ‘quality for cost’ method.. as it is the only fair way to review anything. Is the item worth the price tag or not? Does it exceed the price point? That’s the question.This product is highly accurate, better & clearer to read than a typical thermometer, and seems as if it will hold up in my home for some time. That’s important to me. The price tag is quite low. I remember when these thermometers were all far more expensive.Right now, there’s a 50% off coupon to boot. I may buy a second as a back up or to travel with at such a low price.
