EDIT to update: Have been eating more from the same pack and most of them taste totally stale, frequently with burnt pieces. Have lowered review to 1 star. How disappointing.Some of the least inspiring pork crackling I've had. I'm not a fan of the puffed texture - I prefer a denser, crunchier crackling. That aside, these just have no nuance of flavour and are under-seasoned. Mildly salty with little to no pork taste.2 stars only because they're not inedible.Also, the amazon description lies - they are NOT zero carb

I purchase a 4 cases of these in one go and have since gone through 2 of them. They taste nothing quite like the ones I first purchased from Waitrose last year (which were amazing and had me hooked). On the other hand, these taste stale and has a slight smell of rancid vegetable oil. I also purchased these under the impression that the pork rinds were cooked in its own fat (only 2 ingredients stated: pork rinds and sea salt), but I now have my doubts as I read somewhere (either a reviewer on Amazon or Facebook) that these are actually cooked in vegetable oil first, then lard. Most of the packets while bad were still edible, and a couple of packets were downright horrible - soft, horribly rancid and thrown out immediately. Needless to say, I won't be repurchasing again.

Oh no! The absolute best scratchings out there have taken a massive hit in terms of quality and taste. I'm a long time customer and have bought hundreds upon hundreds of bags of these. I'm also a big keto guy and so this is doubly disappointing as high quality convenient snacks aren't necessarily that easy to come by.When the packaging changed style the product contained within was clearly different. They are certainly using cheaper cuts of pork. The texture of these can be pretty bad but the taste too is different. Almost chemical at times. The old product was a lovely mix of soft and crunchy fat that tasted almost buttery at times. The first time I tried the new style immediately knew something was off and it hasn't changed. Real shame, price is the same, product is lesser quality. These can actually be uncomfortable to eat at times due to the harsh dryness. I'd rather pay more for the old product than have these. With the popularity of keto eating on the rise I'm hoping another company steps up with a better quality option.

Was stupid enough to think I got a good bargain of tasty snacks for the weeks to come. Firstly it’s available on other sites 25% cheaper, so not a multi pack bargain. Secondly it’s must be one of the worst tasting snacks I ever had. Not very salty (which is healthy), but making them pretty tasteless of just pork, but even worse a truly nasty burnt after taste that stayed in the mouth many hours after. Not sure I was unlucky to open a bag that was substandard, and have 19 more to try, but not sure I want risk it after this experience !!!

I purchased these last year and they must have been a fairly new product to Amazon then because I had trouble actually obtaining them and instead was sent sea salt crisps instead, twice! This was very frustrating as I live on an Atkins style diet. I tried again to purchase these just recently after discovering the product now had some excellent reviews (there were none before) and FINALLY they arrived successfully!I can now say that these are a great pork scratching, fairly light in flavour and a more 'airy' texture than some. They don't seem to have a funny almost artificial after-taste which some crackling can give you either which is a plus! I have to say that these are the best I've ever had because they do not contain anything other than pork rinds and sea salt. No artificial flavours etc, and so guilt free too! I love Green Top pork crunch but I have to avoid these because they have wheat in them, and a lot of companies put wheat or yeast extract into the ingredients. I'm now hoping that this 'Awfully Posh' company do a pork crunch style, (more light and crisp like) and I'm sure they would sell just as well. As I am on a permanant low carb diet for my health, I do have these instead of crisps and so on, and they do go exceptionally well with your favourite dip or hummus!Five stars!

They say zero carbohydrate snacking there are additional carbs not much but it's there. Also they don't tast that good it says traditional that I took to mean just pork and salt. These have flour, herbs, rice flour, and spices.

these are my go to snack on the Keto diet. no rubbish ingredients just pork rind and sea salt. Why can't other manufacturers make them like this? full on flavour and crunch without breaking your teeth.

I like these im on a high protein diet and these are something that feels like a treat,i have bought several times. Not to much salt like another famous brand of scratchings and a bit of puff to them
