Bio-health comfrey ointment is an emollient ointment for supporting and maintaining moisture levels in skin. Comfrey was used at times for food. It is known for treating a wide spectrum of conditions, including skin diseases. Sometimes, it is used to alleviate itching. Comfrey ointment is an aqueous ointment containing approved cosmetic preservative to ensure stability. It is suitable all for age groups and most skin types. Available in 42 g pack.
Ingredients
Water, Sweet Almond Oil BP, Glyceryl Stearate, Stearyl Alcohol, Vegetable Glycerin, Hardened Coconut Oil, Comfrey Leaf Extract, Carnauba, Comfrey Root Extract. Magnesium chloride, Dichlorobenzyl alcohol, Methylchloroisothiazolinone and Methylisothiazolinone, Methyl Paraben (butyl paraben, ethyl paraben, propyl paraben), Magnesium nitrate.

Next time I buy one from a different manufacturer
When the tub arrived it was obvious that it had been opened before, the seal was broken and the edges slightly smeared with congealed cream. It was replaced by Amazon without a problem but shouldn't have been sold in the first place.Also, being made by a company called Bio Health I wrongly assumed it was 100% natural and had no chemicals in it but it's actually full of parabens.I would use comfrey cream again because it actually works well on cuts and bruises and speeds up healing but next time I buy one from a different company.

Comfrey ointment v cream
I was expecting this product to be a dark bronze/black thick ointment , as I have always known it in the past , this is a light , white cream, however, as I have ,so far not needed to use it- no bumps or bruises - I cannot give an opinion just hope that it will serve the purpose for which was bought when the occasion arises. Took this on holiday in case I burnt but didn't need it. I'm still glad I bought it as years ago I burnt & used comfrey ointment. The following day I was able to sunbathe.
