Quality carbon steel blade construction is similar to the old one and the price is very good. Still a quality Schrade product. I would buy again. Closed length is close to 3" making the perfect pocket knife - very portable. Easy to use with a quality lockback safety feature. The carbon steel blade holds a sharp edge well. Price & quality for under $20. Dollar for dollar you cant go wrong. If you loose it or leave it no big deal. Luv this knife. I paid less than $16 with tax - good deal. Other reviewers stated the edges to be sharp - unfinished. I found this to be the same on mine as well. I cleaned up edges with a sharpening stone/steel 5- minutes nice and smooth to handle now. It’s my daily carry.
