Brilliant tool. Really well made piece of kit, easy to use, reliable WATCH SET UP VIDEO FIRST. I used to work in the print industry, we had many little bolt on gizmos for scoring or perforating card or paper which were very similar to this, none were of higher quality and when they came from Heidelberg cost many thousands of pounds. This is every bit as well made as that equipment and runs really well just needing the occasional minor adjustment to maintain a speedy work flow. As soon as I used this my bottleneck shifted to winding up the bare copper. To get the best from this machine you will need to be organised, presort all material before processing, don't let too much pile up before you strip the insulation and wind up the copper, you can get in a big mess really quick! If you make sure you align cable before processing you can run the machine super fast, I haven't timed it but it's something like 120 meters a minute when I run my drill on max. Have stripped all sorts of cable, from factory, 3 phase heavy stuff to light domestic twin & earth all faultlessly and fast. It has taken 8 hours of production to strip around 200kg. Of which about 80kg was heavy fat 3 phase cable 8mm dia - bright copper. The rest was either twin & earth (which has to go through three times effectively) or light weight bundles of single core 3 phase lighting 0.14mm dia, all copper 2. It's probably not worth doing anything thing that would fall into copper 2 as the uplift from just scrapping as insulated cable is not really sufficient to justify the time, depending how you value your time. I was initially concerned the cutting wheels may need replacing after use. There is no issue whatsoever with mine after a good few kilometers of cable, the cutter cuts more with pressure than being sharp and as long as you follow the setting up instructions and do not misuse it I'm sure it will continue to function well into the future, I will run out of cable long before I need a new cutter. Overall I'm really impressed thoroughly recommend this stripper.

Absolutely brilliant. So easy to use. I was tempted to buy a much bigger electric stripper with multiple holes, thinking it would be a pain to adjust one like this constantly when changing cable sizes. After reading some reviews I decided to buy this, and I’m so glad I did. setting it up for different cable sizes takes seconds. It’s clearly made to a very high standard. I’ve successfully stripped the sheath off 4.0, 6.0 and 10mm twin and earth. It would easily do the smaller sizes as well if you can be bothered. Stripping singles I’ve done all types from 1.5mm up to 25mm. All have been super quick and easy. It’s already paid for itself, and will continue to earn me extra money for years to come.

Exactly as advertised, it strips cable… I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now and had no problems at all. I’ve stripped several hundred metres of cable so far. It’s not complicated to set up either. So much easier and quicker than running a Stanley knife down the cable to remove the insulation. Multicores can also be run through the Stripmeister in order to cut the outer sheath prior to running the individual cores through. It comes with a spare blade although the original one is still sharp. I’m pleased with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone with a substantial quantity of cable to strip.

So far very good,my son is an electrician and we have decided to strip waste wire from jobs.

This cable stripper is amazing! It’s a nice small compact unit and it works like a dream. It does take a minute to get it to the right setting but that would be the case with all strippers. The build quality is amazing I know it seems like a lot of money buy once you feel the quality of it you understand the price tag more. Best stripper ever!!

Although it’s a most expensive product to a Chinese remake it’s well worth the money, it’s solid and well built, works well and stripping the wires with ease especially when you hook up the drill to it.

Nice tool, works great. Easy to line up wire. Quality, stable with power drill. Works as it should, smooth operation. Just need to find replacement blade. I'm sure it's out there, I just need to take a minute to look for it.

I am a weekend scrapper of all metals , copper and aluminum wire , I was doing all by hand , a friend let me use 2 strippers he had , one used , one brand new , on the used I had to keep adjusting it so cutter wheel would be centered , was only somewhat better than by hand , tried the new one , much better , did not have to keep adjusting , I decided to just by my own after that , got this stripmiester and it flat out blows those other 2 away , works awesome ,pulls wire in nicely I use the low speed setting on my dewalt drill , cuts hard body wire like nothing , other units really had trouble with soft body covering , I just set the cutter wheel down a bit more and no issues at all , this will pay for itself easily and most importantly will save me so much time .

I really like the performance of the machine, it does hours work in minutes and minutes work in seconds. It completes its targets perfectly. I am very happy with this machine.
