Great stuff!
I would recommend this to anyone who loves the Champions, the extras are fantastic and well worth the price onit's own. The DVD has not just the whole series but a nice booklet about the episodes and the reunion of the cast, but the thing I like the most is the two episodes ' The Beginning' and ' Autokill' have the cast talking about whatthey remember and having a ball at doing it they seem to laugh most of the time, it really is great to hear themtalking together as if the last forty years had just disappeared . I am just so glad that they finally got together atthat time as the lovely Alex has now gone. Thanks guys for all the fun!

The Champions
This has got to be one of the best series out of the Monty Berman stable. This now completes my retro collection, The Saint, Dangerman, The Avengers, The New Avengers, Department S and The Prisoner. But still leaves room for The Outer Limits, The Twilight Zone and the Invaders. Not to forget Irwin Allen. Just received it am looking forward to watching the complete set.

Great nostagia action series
Three agents of Nemesis find themselves in a life-threatening situation and are rescued by mysterious beings who give them great powers. Now they can accompish great things, including telepathy. Very useful in the days before mobile phones. What I love also about this series is that it is obvious they were all great friends. THey acted well together. The scriptwriters were very good. There was no swearing, no conrontation, just three people who had each other's backs. The series is well filmed and well worth a look if you like action films.

Epic
With only a fleeting viewing of this show when younger I decided to check it out properly. Wasn’t disappointed as I’ve really enjoyed the adventures of The Champions. Takes me back to a less Grey time when shows were for entertainment and enjoyment. Not like now where shows are labelled dark drama, drama comedy, scenes with a graphic nature. The Champions are top notch.

but such fun and all the cast are perfect
Dated, yes, but such fun and all the cast are perfect. Alexandra Bastedo was only 21 when she began filming. Some very clever plots and I love the opening sequences when their special powers are tested in everyday situations. Still a 5 star classic.

A Champion of a series!
I was a mere lad of 10 when this was broadcast and although styles have dated it little, the series itself is still slick, well acted and vibrant of colour( as most series of this kind were at the time). All 30 episodes are shown plus a documentary about the reunion of Stuart Damon, William Gaunt and Alexander Bastido in 2006- together again for the first time in 40 years- which is hidden gem on disc 8.Whilst the discs are great, there are two booklets accompanying them which tell how the series was made, but the black typeface is really small against a fire engine red background that is very hard to read properly. Still, this doesn't detract from what is an excellent piece of British 1960s nostalgia. If you remember the programme, buy it and enjoy how proper TV was produced.

The Champions The Complete Series
This Old TV Series has always been a big favourite of mine for many years but was just a tad over priced for my liking so I waited and this edition was released at a terrific price its not the much sort after collectors edition with extras but it has all the episodes made plus special Edition features.Like many fans of this show, I was sad to hear the news of the death of Alexandra Bastedo this woman was a genuinely lovely lady who in her later years did a lot of work for animal sanctuary's, and in the show she was a real sex symbol of her dayI have really enjoyed watching this series which was not that long ago on ITV4, if there are any representatives from ITV4 reading this please put it back on again so younger people can see what great TV was years ago instead of endless talentless reality shows.for people out there who haven't seen this great show go buy this box set, you won't regret it.

Childhood memories
Sometimes it's best not to re-visit those programmes you loved as a child. I was 8/9 years of age when this was first shown on UK TV and I can remember being impatient for the week to come around for the next episode. I hadn't seen it in over 50 years when I decided to buy this box set. I should not have worried, it is every bit as good as I remembered. Very 60's, very cool.
