Review: Awesome - High quality! Had it up and running in less than 15min
Review: Cheapest "unofficial" Cheap Yellow Device (CYD) with micro USB & USB-C connectors and stylus - I suppose I have to buy this through desertcart, until an American supplier (such as Adafruit provides an alternative for Cheap Yellow Display/CYD devices). The screen brightness seems adequate, and this was the cheapest option offered for the CYD for a small electronics project I decided to build. However, I can't comment about the full capabilities of this as an EPS32-based device, as the project also wrote the firmware and thus has an extremely special use case. At least, based on buying 2 of these, that it seems to be compatible with WebUSB flashing through Chromium-based browsers. There is very little to no documentation - however, you probably know what you are doing if you're looking at an item like this. This was 1 of the cheapest options of the non-official CYD devices that has both a micro USB and a USB Type-C connector (anywhere from $1-$2 to $10-$15, the last time I checked). Lastly, I didn't end up using the included cable. The stylus is basically the only way to consistently get the touch screen to work. However, I also don't expect the touch screen to be that great, based on the intended use cases for the CYD-based line of devices. BTW, the stylus color is also inconsistent: so far, I've received a stylus in white and in light blue.

This is an excellent buy whether you are just starting out or experienced. It has integrated WIFI, buttons, decent touch screen and 2 cores. Given its extremely low price, this is a much better alternative arduino kits where you have to buy each module separately. Works with Arduino IDE.
