It'll stay connected to your vent just fine, but unless you want your phone at the bottom of the arch(?) it's not strong enough to hold my iPhone 14 pro max to the left of center like I want it. The entire thing is plastic so I don't believe it's possible to tighten it enough to stay where you want it.I'm still using it and have no plans of trashing or returning...I'm just not a huge fan and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Easy install and sturdy mount

I installed and it work for a couple days and than on part came off and I screw it back on but the other same came off and so basically not a great product comes off form the screw

Magnet is not strong enough to hold my phone. Don’t waste your money.

I recently purchased this MagSafe car vent phone mount, and I must say, it's a breeze to install! The mount feels sturdy and sits perfectly on the vent. The adjustable design with 360-degree rotation and locking mechanism allows me to find the perfect viewing angle.The magnet is impressively strong and works flawlessly with all MagSafe devices, even when they have cases on. For non-MagSafe cases, the package includes two magnetic rings that are easy to apply.One thing to note is that the mount is not as rigid as I had hoped once it's installed. The fairly long arm causes the phone to sway while driving, which can be a little distracting. Additionally, I noticed that the mount sometimes blocks my vents, which is a bit frustrating.Lastly, it's worth mentioning that using the MagSafe feature with a heavy iPhone 14 Max can put some strain on the vent. Despite these minor drawbacks, this mount is a great addition to my car, and I'm pleased with its performance overall.

I had high hopes for this mount. Quickly placing, repositioning, and removing my phone while in the car would have been wonderful. As it is, I can't use this. Once assembled completely the mount is on the heavier side. Because of the weight it puts some extra strain on the vent fin which it is attached to. I'm a little concerned it would cause some damage over time. As it is, it won't work with my case anyway. While I have a pretty generic case on an iPhone 14 Pro Max with MagSafe, the magnets aren't strong enough to work through the case. I could use one of the metal rings that's included with the mount but I prefer not to have to stick something to my case. Besides, that defeats the purpose of having MagSafe in the phone to begin with. If you don't use a case and have a phone with MagSafe, this may work well for you. It's a pretty solid mount and feels like there's little chance of it breaking. I wish it was feasible for me to use, alas it's just not for me.

We recently upgraded to the iPhone 14 Pro Max and needed a new mount in the car.What I like:- easy to install- the extra extension arm keeps the phone away from touching the dashboard and blocking access to the radio and A/C controls- ability to angle phone to make it easy to see while driving- the magnet is very strong so the phone isn't going anywhereWhat I don't like:- Removing the phone always results in moving the position of the extension arm. Not a big deal as it is easy to get it back in the position I want- Because we are using the extension, the phone shakes a little while driving (not like it will fall off... the arm shakes)Would recommend!
