I wasn't expecting such a thick strip but I found it interesting. I wish I was able today apply the strip more easier without a screw kit. The colors are beautiful though. Would recommend it though to anyone that likes a versatile strip.

EDIT: 03-24-2024- 12v conversion was less than successful. Lights are remarkably dimmer. And no luck so far converting to some other controller. But at least they didn't get so warm this time around. I considered just giving up and using them "as is" for accent lighting in the kitchen - but them getting so warm after only a few minutes still has me worried. And relying on the Tuya App/cloud for automation control is a definite "NO". I don't want any more stuff in my house that doesn't work when there's no internet.Original Review: They are remarkably bright and I like how the color seems to flow without gaps. However, they do get pretty warm, pretty fast. Probably because the LEDs get 24vdc power. And I had no luck setting up the wifi/app control.But I don't intend to keep using the controller/app. I intend to convert it to 12v operation and control it with an ESPxxx some sort of controller. If It can't be done, I'm out a few bucks.....no biggie.

This is an easy-to-use LED rope light. Simply plug it in and use the remote control to select from a very wide variety of colors and color movements.Depending on how you intend to use it, this light can likely do the job you want. It can be a plain warm light to light the base of your kitchen island. If you are a streamer, you can put this in your background and have an animated light. If you simply want to change the mood of your room you can line this behind your couch and wall and change as needed. There are so many different ways to use it—just don't lose the remote!I personally use this in a straight line and don't try to shape it into anything. A straight line also means I can hang this on the wall easily.

At only 6.5 feet of length, this is a little short for most applications around the home. The neon effect works very well here with the silicone encasing. And to its credit, it is very bright. Just wish it was a little longer. I didn't bother with the app, but the included remote works very well and has a plethora of options.

These lights are so mesmerizing. They can do just about anything. These do not stick to the wall with glue backing...you can use the clips however. Which is better for something of this thickness. You don't have to even install these to enjoy them.

We have it playing on the auto going through all the functions under our TV.There is a section where on bar sticks in color as it is looping through for a period. It did not do this at first but have had it running continuously for a few days and started noticing it the second day. This makes me worry that it will extend to more of it if just that one section is stuck and won't change.It is still nice and bright. Very neat display. It is a pleasure to watch.The remote is a bit tricky too. I have the box in a spot where you would think it would work but you have to be basically in front of it pointing at it to get it to work right.I am on the fence if I would recommend of not. I really enjoy the colors and everything but worried about the minor things not working becoming worse. Buy at your own risk.
