You're So Dead to Me: Grimdale Graveyard Mysteries, Book 1

This book is by turns funny, wonderfully original, often tugging the heartstrings and just being in every sense magical. Usually when books are touted as funny they are full of weak puns and sad attempts at humour. This author has joined my instant buy list. I cannot help but fall in love with the characters and the writing. The only thing that was less than perfect was the overuse of US English in a book set in England. It is only the brilliance of the writing that stopped me from not finishing the book, as it is both annoying and jarring.

I’ve not read any of this author before today but I absolutely loved this book. Such a good plot and genuinely very funny. Can’t wait to read the next one

When I first started reading I was a little apprehensive, could we really have a British PNR thats actually British and funny?! Yes, yes we do! This is brilliantly funny, I loved the ghosts and how they interacted with the world around them. Ooft that ending! Can't wait for the sequel 😁

… yes it’s a word (no really, look it up)! I couldn’t put this book down, my poor child had been neglected for most of the day. This does start slowly with the reveals happening over time and whilst there are steamy scenes, it’s not that kind of book. There are mysteries to be solved and village bake off contestants to save. Bree is the reluctant heroine who just wants to lead a normal life but when you can see ghosts and 3 very good looking ghost live in your house it gets a bit tricky. I’m off now to read the Nevermore bookstore books, I think I saw a spoiler in here for that series.

This author is a new find for me and I'm impressed! This book is light hearted and funny, with heartache and mystery sprinkled throughout. I'm hooked and can't wait to find out what happens next with Bree and her ghostly lovers. I also love it when FMC or their love interests have disabilities and it's portrayed as just being a part of them, not something to be 'fixed' once I'm done with this series I'm 100% going to track down Mina and her guys' story!

I loved this book, steffanie yet again created an amazing story with a gripping plot that has you invested and addicted to the storyline and characters.Bree is a one of the best characters i have read this year alone with pax, who is just amazing aswell I also loved the little pop ups of other charecters.

I follow the author on instagram who is absolutely amazing!!!This book is so much better than what I expected, it made me laugh and cry and go through other emotions , not the mention the ending…I’m Jungshook
