This Brand of Scented Sachets is an old love of mine! Were easily available in Stores at one time .. I tuck them between clothing and in drawers!! The fragrance wafts through in a wonderful way!!

I really love the smell of the sachets so much so that I purchased more. I have two kitties, so I don’t place them on top of the radiators I actually tape a wooden kebab stick to the side of the packet to hang it over the bracket behind the radiator (our more modern radiators don’t have a long holding brackets just a small one either side as they are aluminium and light, so the stick has to be stuck on the side so the sachet so its not visible or accessible tiny paws). The fragrance lasts around 6 weeks, and requires a shake from time to time to active the smell. It’s quite strong at first so I would keep it in its plastic wrapper, then after a week put a hole or two in the plastic wrapper, after another week or so remove from the plastic wrapper. That way it’s scents is not too overpowering. Once it’s totally lost it’s smell it can be regenerated, rather than just thrown away. I carefully cut open the flap of the sachet, empty the contents into an old dish, drop a few of the blue door fragrant oil onto the powder (can be purchased online), let it soak in until dry as possible (carrier oil won’t dry out totally), refill the envelope and reseal with a paper label, (only do the regen once as the oil can leach into the paper sachet and thus can transfer onto wall coverings if you’re not careful) and voila another 3-4 wks of glorious, fresh Blue Door fragrance. One sachet in the hall will travel through to the upstairs landing and any open doors. If it’s warmer weather and rads are off, pop it on a sunny windowsill, stuck behind a plant pot or ornament, or if you have blind or curtains tape to the gap between the upper fixings using Velcro so you can remove the sachet to shake. I’m sure you’ll find your perfect place!

On the website it mentions up to nine months fragrance from the manufacturing date. I recieved mine this morning ( 15th june) it says on the packet that it was made on 16th February. So not going to have much fragrance left!
