Fans are Silent, Cooling Plate is Cold to the Touch, Hinge Seems Flimsy
Just got this in, so these are my initial impressions:Positives: - Setup is easy -- just plug it in and use the three buttons on the front of the device to set the fans and LEDs to your liking. - I can't hear the fans at all and the cooling plate is cold to the touch -- exactly what I'm looking forNegatives: - The front hinge for the plate that keeps the laptop from sliding forward seems flimsy. My laptop is quite heavy and would likely break it quickly if I were moving it around a lot. - I don't see anything to keep the laptop from sliding from side to side. Which makes sense since they don't really know how large your laptop is. So I wouldn't expect to have this on your lap. Should be fine for putting your laptop on a desk and keeping it cool.My initial impression is that should keep my laptop much cooler as long as I have it sitting on my desk. I'll watch laptop temperatures over a few days and update this review if anything notable happens.

It actually works!
So to start, I have a pretty big top end gaming laptop (17 inch) that gets very hot when playing games lime Darktide on high graphics. Previously i was using the IETS GT300 laptop cooling pad which is also kind of pricey, but I figured it’d be worth it since it seemed o have more going for it than just “big fan” or “lots of fan” and it sort of worked, but the laptop would still get pretty damn hot!I was VERY skeptical about this product when I first saw it, but considering how hot my laptop was getting sometimes, I figured I’d test it out and return it if I didn’t like the results. And honestly? This thing is MUCH quieter than all other laptop pads I’ve used even on the highest setting AND it actually works. The central plate is actually electronically cooled and it makes a huge difference! My laptop does still get hot if I game on it for a long time, but not so much that it actually felt uncomfortable like it used to.The only 1 down side is that this cooling pad uses its own AC adapter which saves a USB port and probably is why it works better, but this means no USB hub functionality and you have to remember to turn the pad on/off individually rather than having it automatically turn on/off with the laptop. All in all a great product (I bought 2), but hopefully innovations continue and they make one that can connect via USB C and have more of a HUB function as well.

Great cooling pad
I bought this product for my Alienware 17" gaming laptop because of the bezel stop which is higher than most and I needed one that would keep my computer cooler. So far it has preformed as advertised. The only negative thing can say about it is the bezel just barely holds the laptop and i can only raise it to the 4th tier but other than that it is quiet and works great

Cools well
Think this is overpriced a tad bit. It cools great but for the money could give you more control over RGBs all settings are bright fast and pretty much useless imh

Ineffective for MacBook Pro, Loud and light always stay on when running…
My mbp is the last intel model I bought in 2020 (I know it’s trash compared to M1 and the heat dissipation is bad) and I use this cooling pad frequently for my daily and overnight renders for Resolve color work.Overall, I feel like the concept of this cooling pad is great and I liked how it looked - except the semiconductor in the middle which is supposed to get cool just always get demolished by the heat from my Macbook16 body, and I almost see no difference when it’s on… it’s also got a metal layer which could potentially scratch your laptop body. The fans are LOUD - it essentially doubles the already loud macbook fan noise. Plus, those fans are not even as effective with my previous cheap $30 single fan generic cooling pad I got 2 years ago. Maybe it’s because they are all on the sides?Worst of all, when the fan is on, the separate LED light that goes with the fan always stay on, which is super annoying if you want to cool it at night for an overnight render. My gf’s been complaining about the consistent light and I had to return it - but not just because of the light, just overall inefficient and mediocre experience. Certainly not worth the price tag.

Keeps it COOL!
Indo alot of digital 3D modeling and Adobe product rendering. So I find I need to have lots of programs up at once. For me, right now, it's Rhino 7, Inscape, Adobe PS, AI, and AID. Then there the online share points for collaboration. So my poor laptop gets HOT! Then it gets slow, then it lags, then programs start to freeze or simple stop and shut off. So this contraption for venting the generated heat and for cooling off my suffering computer hardware, was a life and a time saver. When I got it, I wasn't so sure, because it's plastic and seemed ...cheap. BUT it actually does the job very well.

Thermoelectric cooler lacking!
The fans on the unit work well but the thermoelectric cooler barely works to remove heat from my laptop. In fact, I stopped using it because it was not providing any noticeable difference…

Gaming laptop necessity
It has greatly reduced the heat build up in my husband’s gaming laptop while playing graphically intense games and will increase his laptop’s life span. He also likes the different light patterns.
