Glucomannan expands and absorbs water in the stomach. It can help you "feel full" quicker as well as being a great fiber intake. This does help some to lose weight. However, it really depends on the rest of one's lifestyle and what they are eating before feeling full. :)

What type of gelatin is used? I cannot use pork derived gelatin.
