Works and keeps my workhorse little hoover vacuum still working with a good amount of charge, similar to the original battery when it was new.

The first battery that I received would not recharge. I spoke with Amazon's Tech Support, Esra, and she was a tremendous help with contacting the seller and getting a new battery. The seller contacted me quickly and sent me a new battery in two days.I have recharged the battery several times and it works great! The service was great and the cost of the battery was very reasonable. I highly recommend this company and will buy from them again.

OK - I'll start with the fact that I have an old Hoover Linx vacuum that I got in 2010. I liked it then and I still like it! It seems like it's going to run forever, but I'll have to keep it in batteries!!A few years back I tried two different "replacement" batteries that were not OEM. I had high hopes, but neither of them worked. One appeared to work, but then the vacuum would just stop, but then start back up ... over and over. The other one had some quirk as well and I was suspicious from the start because when I completed charging, the charger would flash quickly, when it should have gone to that soothing, slow pulsing blue light. Those both got sent back. And I was just burnt out on trying to find a battery.Oh yes - my review of this battery!! ;-) Well the one battery I had was really starting to go, it would only run for a few minutes, so I had to try another battery. I picked this one, the POWITEC. Whew! It works. I put it in the charger as you always should before using it and the blue charging light came right on. Then after a few hours I checked it and there was that soft pulsing blue light showing that it was charged!!! Now for the true test, would it power the trusty old Hoover Linx ... YES! The vacuum powers on and runs steadily until you shut it off.I have not run it through a full cycle yet, but will update this review once I have done that. I was just so excited to have a battery that appeared to charge correctly and then also powered the vacuum, that I wanted to get this review out there.5 Stars for this early review.

I’ve long been interested in having a second battery for our Linx vacuum, but was always disuaded by the price of the OEM battery. So when I saw this one I decided to give it a try.Mechanically it is the same size as the OEM battery and fits well into the vacuum, locks, and unlocks as expected. Electrically, it supplies power and as far as I can tell the vacuum runs as well as it does with the OEM battery. After charging on the OEM charger, the vacuum was indicating full power. I can’t tell that its run time is much more than the original battery.One thing that’s disappointing about this battery is that the charger ends the charge cycle with the LED flashing rapidly. According to the charger this indicates an error. The battery seems to be charged, but it makes me wonder about the long term suitability of the battery.Overall, I think this is a good battery to have as a backup. It seems like it’s not a perfect replacement for the original, but delivers on the important things and does it at a much lower price than the OEM battery.

Seems to hold battery life good and lasts at least 15 minutes with the vacuum. Very satisfied. It is too early to tell about longevity.

Am charging this in my old Hoover charger, and it works fine. Time will tell.

Sent it back. This battery caused a fast blinking fault on my charger meaning it cannot charge-- saw some reviews mentioning the same thing. ultimately, I didn't wan to take a chance on a replacement even though other has good luck with the battery. it's obvious they have quality control problems.
