Not as bright as we hoped

In principle these are decent looking lights but it is really important to know that the solar panel is slanted on the back - not the top - so it’s hard for the sun to get to it. The rocks are the low lights in my picture - I bought different lights (to the left) to show the difference.

So 3 compact led solar charging lamps for a white low outdoor glow. Not terribly bright, just enough to light up a tree base or plant… only thing that lets these down is quality, one of the three lifts wasn’t glued in well enough, and a clip pin had snapped off… otherwise there cute… are they worth it…we’ll if it’s to just highlight a small garden area great

These solar rock lights are lovely little accent lights for the garden.The grey rock effect makes them look decorative during the day, although they look a bit like headlights when they light up in the dark. The light is a cool white and it’s reasonably bright considering there’s just four little LEDs inside.The solar panels have a protective plastic coating that needs to be removed. I thought the face of the lights had a removable plastic coating too, but it was just bits of glue that rubbed off easily.They’re decent quality for the price (£16.49 at the time of ordering) and they’re still lighting up despite being rained on and seeing little of the sun so I’m happy with them.

These do have a nice finish, quite natural and not obviously plastic though the big lens is a bit of a give away.I've had these in the garden for a couple of weeks and so far no flicker and the light output is pretty uniform.The batteries are replaceable if required.The only slight issues I have with these is that the solar panel is angles slightly backwards and as I have these near a fence they don't get quite as much light as they could but obviously that's just my placement and they do still work fine.

This is a set of 3 rock effect garden solar lights which are all individual so you can place them exactly where you want to and do a good job of looking like a rock if that is what you are after, the solar panel on these is on the back but is a slanted position so placement is really important if you are wanting the best out of these. I have given 3 stars only because one of the lights I got has already let water into the light fitting although it is still working I am not sure how much longer it will hold up and I have to keep on tipping it out so would not be happy to have paid the current price of £19.49. These are ok for an effect but not majorly bright and the price would have to be reduced for me to want to recommend these.

These 3 large rock lights are a very good solution for decoration. There are waterproof, scratch and rust-resistant. They are solar-powered. Automatically turn on in the dark and turn off during the day. Also, there is no hassle in installation. The only negative thing is that they are not as bright as they are looking.The design is really nice and looks amazing. Very good addition to your garden. If you're not looking for something really bright I would recommend it.

As much as I love the natural look of these solar outdoor lights, I can’t help but think they’re a little bit mediocre and cheaply made. They have some weight to them so won’t budge with windy weather and they have a flat base so will sit on the ground. The bottom is made of ceramic and there is a handy on off button to control the lights.For me, it’s a little finishes that haven’t been done with care, for example, some of the LEDs inside are wonky and theres holes for the front plastic cap to be screwed on, but instead it’s been glued on.So far though, they kick out a nice amount of light and I like that they’re in keeping with a natural look of the garden. Not sure how long they will last though.
