Mystery Ranch Coulee 20 Backpack - Lightweight Hiking Daypack, 20L, S/M, Black

After using this backpack for a year now, I will rate it 5 stars. I've got 100 miles plus on it and it is so comfortable and cool to my back. The pockets are easy to get into and out of and it fits snug to my body. Adjusting it to conform to my body was easy.

I am 6'5" and have a long torso. This fit with room to spare when fully extended. I had to take it in an inch. Impressive. This pack would have worked but I was not a fan of the belt. The foam used in there was super lightweight and I can see it breaking down to not do much padding at all over time. The pockets were great. Lots of easy access to stuff. I went with an Osprey Stratos 34 instead.

Always wanted this pack and decided to do it. Exceeded expectations. Y zipper should be on all packs as it allows easy access to all items being stowed. You won’t regret.

Pros: *The pack obviously well made. *The pack is lightweight. *The frame is very rigid. *The waistbelt is removable. Cons: *There is are no internal pockets for organization. *The lid of the pack is a little too minimalist. *The pockets on the outside are too small to be of any use. *The water bottle pockets barely fit a standard 32 oz Nalgene bottle. *No rain fly included. Comments: Out the gate, I'll say that I really wanted to like this pack. I have heard so many great things about Mystery Ranch and their products, and I was really stoked when I ordered this pack. I'm really sorry to say this, but the Coulee 20 was kind of a let-down. For a pack that is advertised as "feature rich" I found it surprisingly lacking in features, especially when compared to the REI Trail 25, a pack that should be a direct competitor. The tri-zip open platform of this pack is really cool, but without internal pockets for organization, all your stuff just flops out everywhere when you unzip the pack. The other drawback is the pockets on the outside that are meant for a poncho or outer layer are so small that it's almost impossible to put anything in them. The water bottle pockets are too shallow to properly store a 32 oz Nalgene bottle without d-clipping it in, which makes accessing said bottle pretty much impossible, unless you're a circus freak (no offense to my busking brothers and sisters). Also, there's no rain cover included and honestly there's nowhere to keep it for easy access if there was one. All in all, if you want a dedicated daypack for hiking or stand hunting, this thing is probably fine. But, if you want a pack that you can use for that AND other stuff, this pack just won't do it. I'll regretfully be returning this one.

Holds up well and frame is easy to adjust. Waist belt doesn't seem necessary for light loads/shorter hikes.

This is a very nice, fairly roomy 20L backpack. Only one pocket in the pack, and some odd ones on the outside. It's comfortable and adjustable, but not a good bag for rucking if that is your intent. Nice bag, guess it's hard to get it, I should probably keep it. I will not buy it again.

Like all Mystery Ranch products, this one fits the need for a light day pack. No extra weight, great features, easy to load and go.

Mon sac outdoor à la journée. Un confort exceptionnel avec un accès très pratique à l’ensemble du sac. Je recommande de ranger les affaires dans des pochettes facilement identifiables (couleur, taille, forme, matière). La qualité de construction est également incroyable

日帰り登山する為に購入しました。 大きさで悩みましたが大は小を兼ねるということでこれに決めました。 大きさ、ポケットが多くとても気に入っています。

女性用でブラックはなく、メンズでブラックを選びましたが、身長150センチしかないのでサイズを合わせられるか心配でしたが、全く問題なく、簡単に合わせることができました。購入したばかりでまだ使用していませんが、背負って歩ける日が楽しみです

グレーと思って買ってみたら、思ったよりグリーンでした。商品の写真は自然光下で撮影したものもあると良いと思います。
