Protractor and Compass Set with Ruler, Set Square, Protractor, Compass for Geometry, Pencils, Pencil Case, Mechanical Pencil, Pencil Sharpener, Eraser and Lead

The parts are made well and I’m happy with them. The plastic carrying box was broken during mailing but I don’t really need it anyway. Nice addition to my art supplies. I keep everything in the case.

It works great but sometimes the leg folds in and messes me up otherwise it's good.

The compass itself and kit is of great quality and has many handy functions and features built in. The arm joints do not tighten enough to be completely stiff, but I simply fixed this by wrapping them in scotch tape. Most of everything outside of the compass set itself is sub-par though. The little extras like the pencils are very cheap (the mechanical one inside of the hard plastic case is good). One plastic hinge on the hard case broke the second time I opened it, so now I have to be careful not to let the lid fall off. The added triangles, half-circle, and ruler are handy although they arrived very scratched. The blade on the pencil sharpener arrived very sharp. I like that the kit provides you with several cases and compartments for organization. Overall I would say that this is a very good deal for the money, and I would definitely buy it again. Plus I was amazed that they actually shipped it over a holiday weekend, and I am very grateful for that!

Very nice. Good quality over all. We purchased this set for my 9-year-old son to use for math (we homeschool). I was drawn to this particular set for 2 main reasons. 1) The style of the protractor works well for measuring the angles in his workbook which do not extend far enough to quickly and easily measure them with the style of protractor that has an open center. The protractor with this set is much easier for him to use. 2)The compass is very high quality. In the past we have purchased cheap plastic and metal compasses that broke almost as soon as we got them. This one should last him several years.My son was excited by all the extras. "Math is so much more fun when you can use all this cool equipment!!" The pouch is a nice addition.The only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars is that the protractor has some etching on it (see photos). I thought it was just residue of some kind from production, but it doesn't wash off with soap and water. It isn't a big deal. It doesn't interfere with it's function. It's just a bit annoying for those of us who have some obsessive compulsive tendencies about stuff like that.

I like most components in this kit, but find the compass to be a bit clumsy.. the arms have hinges, which is a good function, but they bend too easily, tried tightening them, dis t work.. wish it didnt have this function and would just stay straight. Aside from that, the wooden pencils have shoddy eraser clamp things, very loose and thus crap to use, lead breaks when sharpening.. all in all im not surprised, but this set got loads of 5star reviews... honestly you get what you pay for, this stuff is cheap.

I bought this for my professional drafting class. Over all it's a decent enough set, for the money it costs. I did not like the mechanical pencil, the lead slipped out frequently and it was difficult to reload the lead. And the lead snapped off soooo much. The compass is okay, it doesnt really lock in place and while it performs its job it can be a bit sloppy at it. The rest was all fairly decent, performed their jobs without issues. What I liked the most was the white eraser. It works SO WELL, didnt rip even my thinnest papers, and cleanly erased without leaving smears or stains. If I had bought this for the eraser it would have been four maybe even five stars simply because of how nice the eraser really is. But the fact the the majority of what I used frequently doesnt work much for needs makes this a 2 star item.

Just ordered this for my Granddaughter who is starting into the 6th grade this year. It arrived early ( today in fact) and is in great shape. I ordered it as it looked very sturdy for use and looks like it will hold up for a good long while to come. She is excited about having it ,though she may not need every feature this set holds . Anyway,if not now then may-hap in the future some of the others will come into being handy. I would definitely order another one should she need one as it is the best set I've seen advertised out there and does not cost you the house rent or car payment to buy, LOL.

This set of geometric tools is a recent acquisition, so i do not truly know how durable they are. Although, the materials appear to be made from sturdy materials, especially the compass. One exception is the case the compass was packed in, the lid was broken, but not a big deal.
