Surprisingly Comfortable & Conveniently Practical!
As someone who doesn’t buy a new wallet very often because I tend to buy high quality ‘conventional’ leather wallets, (which tend to last quite a while), I really didn’t need to replace the one I had. At least, that’s what I thought before I used the Grip6 in my everyday life for about a month. In the month since I received the Grip6, (which came in a very nice and presentable gift box), I’ve been nothing but impressed with how much better it was compared to my conventional leather wallets. The Grip6 is not only more comfortable than my leather wallets were, but it’s also able to accept all the contents my leather wallet held. There was a very short ‘learning curve’ that I went through regarding the use of the trigger whilst selecting a specific card in the group of cards that would extend from the wallet.I simply mean that I’ve learned to position the cards that I use most often, within the wallet so that they’d be the first to extend from the Grip6. Then, I could easily access those without having to pull them all out in a random search.I don’t often write reviews regarding the products I purchase on Amazon but I knew I would write a review on this product by the time I had finished using it in my everyday life for a few weeks.QUALITY:First, the Grip6 comes in numerous colors, (I ordered mine in orange with a black, leather cover). The Grip6 body is made of high quality 5052 H3 aluminum, (anodized in different colors).FEATURES:You can buy the wallet with or without a trigger, a finger loop, and/or a quality leather cover. As I stated earlier, you can order the wallet with the finger loop if you wanted it. The Grip6 ads stress the finger loop as ideal for the “fidgeter”. I’m not much of a “fidgeter” so I didn’t order mine with a finger loop. However, along with the leather cover I did want the trigger included with my order. Later, I found both options not only very important, but invaluable! The trigger and leather cover are so useful and important that I must strongly recommend buyers include both of those features in their order. If you look at the pictures I’ve included with this review, you may be able to see why the leather cover is so important.Items that I typically keep in my conventional wallet included cards & info smaller than a standard credit card. They wouldn’t have fit in the main compartment. As you can see in the photos, the leather cover was perfect for handling the smaller cards and data, (not to mention cash). This is precisely why I recommended the leather cover so strongly. If later, you find that you prefer the wallet without the trigger or the leather cover, keep in mind that they can be easily removed with a little effort.FUNCTIONALITY:In addition, I noticed that that the Grip6 video advertisements all demonstrated the wallet being placed in the users front pocket. I was a bit concerned that there may have been a reason for not demonstrating the wallet being placed in the rear left or right pants pocket, which is where I always carried my conventional wallet.I thought perhaps the reason was that the trigger on the Grip6 may get in the way when placed in a back-right, (or left) ‘wallet-pocket’ like many people typically do.Also, I carry a pocket knife in the same pocket as my wallet, and pretty much have all my life. However, after a month of everyday use, I was very pleased to find that the trigger never once felt cumbersome or conflicted with the pocket knife.FIT:Even more surprising, everything I had in my conventional leather wallet, transferred and fit into the Grip6 with no problem! (SEE PICS). Even after the transfer, the Grip6 was still only one third as thick as the conventional wallet with the same contents!CONS:Unfortunately, the Grip6 ad in the Amazon website didn’t allow the buyer to choose a specific leather cover color to go along with a specific wallet color of their choice.I would have preferred a blue colored wallet with a black leather cover but that combination wasn’t available. The blue wallet was only available with a brown leather cover.I didn’t want the cover in brown. So, I purchased the orange colored Grip6 with the black leather cover, which was the only available combination left. It’s quite possible that if you go to the Grip6 website, you’ll be able to order the wallet colors and features in any combination you prefer. However, I chose to purchase the wallet through Amazon because it appears that Grip6 website had changed the style of the leather cover for the Grip6 wallet. The Grip6 website shows an alternate styled leather cover that doesn’t seem to be near as useful as the one that I purchased.I have no idea if Grip6 discontinued the style shown in the Amazon ads but I feel confident that if you use the “contact us” option in their website, you can ask them for the leather cover in the same style as shown in the Amazon ad. I’m sure they’ll be able to supply whichever style of leather cover you prefer.FINAL THOUGHT:I would’ve laughed if someone told me that I could get excited about a wallet but that’s exactly what happened after I purchased and used the Grip6 for a month! Of course, I strongly recommend this wallet to anyone, (men or women), for its comfort and convenience as well as its appeal. 5-STARS!Rich

Unique and Functional US Made Wallet
The wallet is build well and is not flimsy in the slightest. It’s also USA made which is a big plus for me.The mechanics do take some time to get used to. My cards do not come loose but engaging the lever too hard can send them flying. Mine is also not full to its capacity. The cork money band is so-so. It works better than the leather jacket, but still seems a bit clumsy. Business cards and money do not slide out easily and the vertical portion of the band is not stationary. Honestly, a hair tie could do the job just as well. A trade for form over function. The wallet and band is a bit steep at almost $80 but I choose it over competitors after I lost my first Grip6. That’s how much I liked it.The loop is also plus.

I am impressed
I am an old hand at pop up wallet, had 4 at different price ranges. To me this is by far the best.My big complaint was that all of them didn't space the cards enough to really make it easy to pickone. I didn't know it was a complaint because the Al had it. It seemed that they had about a tenthof an inch showing when you poped them up, not enough to grap with my big hands. The Grip6 isdifferent, it makes a piramide so there is more room to see and pick the card you want. These people who say it shoots the cards out must be really squeezing it hard and fast or notholding it upright.l can make it do it if I really try and am holding it flat, but why would I do that?Squeeze it normally no problem. Unlike the others I have had the cards will fall out, they are lockedin until you squeeze the lever. Very comfortingI besides functioning very well it is quality, it looks and feels robust and you can see why they canguarantee it for life. Nice to see a made in USA product that's this good. The main box holds 6 cards, i tried it with 5 and 7 it works but not as well. It is made for 6 , that's whythey named it the grip6.The wingman cash strap will hold a lot of cards if needed. I only carry my license and insurance cardsin it, but I tried it with 6 cards and 7folded bills just as a test and it was fine. It is compact andcomfortable. I don't have the loop so I can't say if it would be as comfortable.I am planing to keep this one and guit buying wallets.I didn't receive anything for this review a paid for it, so this is my honest review.

Great minimalist wallet
This wallet is slick looking, comfortable in your pocket, and I love the finger ring. I find myself spinning my wallet like a Wild West sheriff all the time. The only things I would improve about this wallet is that sometimes the cards get bound up if you don’t put the card back I. The same slot it was in, and you have to actively push the cards back down to put them away.

Nice, convenient slim wallet for 5-7 cards
I finally ditched my 20 year old weather wallet for a slim, RFID safe wallet. This one is the second that I tried. the first was fine, but was essentially two metal bars being held by a very thick elastic band. When I needed a card, I got the whole set of cards and then had to thumb through them to get the one needed for payment, or driver's license, ect.The feature that reallly sold me on this wallet, is that the cards come up in a cascade so I can get the one I want easily. They are also secure, don't fall out and look stylish. Plus the finger loop makes it easy to retrieve my wallet from my pant's pocket. My one wish is that I would have liked the leather case around the metal holder (that one was sold out)

Keep looking
It’s overpriced, 6 cards are a tight fit.

Lovely design, innovative, and fun.
Bought this wallet as a gift for my 38 yr-old creative and stylish son. At $ 200 CDN with shipping, it was a bit stiff, but it is a work of art, and so becomes something other than just a wallet . It blends masterful design with eyebrow-raising practicality and fun. Great conversation starter. While the innovative finger loop is amusing when you do the flip, adds security while holding, and is a lovely shape, he is not quite sure about it. It might not quite align with his minimalist ideas about design. It, well, sticks out :-) He loves the wallet, and it has become a constant companion.
