We needed a good guide for our holiday, I used to buy this company’s guides and buying this one was a pure nostalgia trip. The info helped us have an adventure out in Sicily… thanks so much!

What images are there don’t offer a good representation of what we saw, the book doesn’t focus on nature and countryside almost at all. Should be titled Sicily’s cites and towns.

We have found this book very interesting and will be taking it with us to Sicily on our holiday. lots of helpful and up to date facts and information.

Having a book massively compliments and enhances searching for things.The internet is a wonderful thing but the book helps to declutter that mass of information and allows you to make faster and better decisions, backed up by first hand knowledge.Extremely good value and already made our travel planning a lot easier.

Really good version of Sicily with lots of information for a holiday.

Considering the importance of Taormina as a leading popular tourist resort, we were very disappointed in the scant coverage in the Rough Guide. More coverage in a future edition please. There is hardly any mention of shopping in Taormina apart from one mention of a ceramic shop ! Having visited the resort in past years there are a number of really interesting shops that could have been covered. The same goes for the section on restaurants - only 5 mentioned in such a large resort, and 3 of them just serving pizzas. More on the history of the place as well required. Come on Rough Guide you can do better than this.
