i dont know much about mattresses but its not uncomfortable and was easy to unroll and put onto my bed

This mattress was in use on its own. The 'memory foam' works well. The size and height are as stated. It arrived compressed and wrapped in polythene. If you buy this mattress, don't leave the purchase to the last minute! It takes about 10 days (no exaggeration!) for the chemical smell to go away. It is foam, and it will smell! It needs to be stored in a room that is not in use while it is being aired. I tried to sleep in the same room but the smell was overpowering. After the smell has dissipated, it is perfectly usable and not smelly at all. I am extremely fussy about such things, but I am truly pleased with the purchase. The fact that it smelled when opened has not put me off buying another, should I need it (and I probably will).Another thing to note: Do not use it on a hard surface. If the bed you buy it for has wooden slats, the foam will sink through, so secure a strong sheet underneath it. If you do this, the mattress is perfectly comfortable. I used it myself for around 6 months and slept very well.

A really good quality mattress and had the best sleep ever after sleeping on this.

After a bad start and false delivery dates and it not turning up on a few occasions and then Hermes website showed they had attempted delivery at 9:12pm on a Saturday evening which was not true! I logged a complaint with hermes which was never resolved, but my mattress finally arrived, late but it arrived! Now I'm unsure if sellers or hermes fault here maybe a bit of both. Maybe change delivery company Seller! However that been said I got to say this mattress is just soooooo comfy! Im a biggish girl and after reading some reviews saying it's not very supportive and they don't weigh much etc and some reviews saying how good it is I took a gamble! I needed a new mattress urgently and straight after Xmas short on funds so I went for this one very cheap and I had option to pay over 5 months. I am so glad I did it really really is just an absolute delight, im not waking up with any back or leg ache and ive never slept so good in a long time! Im actually a little excited when it comes to bed time now because I just know I'm gonna be so comfortable and sleep good! :) I hope longevity doesn't dissapoint but right now do I recommend this mattress ohhh yessssss I do!

Something's weird, right, when a product has 90% 5 star reviews, and yet some people rate it 1 or 2 stars? Often you discount the low stars as "user error" or just an unhelpful review...And that's pretty much what I did with this item, thinking so many people can't be wrong. Well, I am really really disappointed with this mattress and I can only come to the conclusion that most people who think this item is brilliant are eithera) not used to anything better (i.e. a decent memory foam mattress already) orb) buying for someone else (and yes, a lot of the reviews seem to be buying it for kids, or students... )I bought this to migrate my toddler from his cot to a full bed... Before we let him sleep on it we decided to try it ourselves.IT IS TERRIBLE. here are the problems:1) WAY TOO firm. In the description for this item there is no mention of how firm it is. A decent foam mattress will tell you the density of the foam and what weight it is designed to support. This one doesn't, and it is so firm that both my partner and I have uncomfortable nights on it. Moreover, she actually gets pins and needles. The base layer of foam has very little give, at least to start with... How many months of agonising nights do you have to put up with before it softens out? Who knows..2) Minimal memory foam. The description claims to use top quality memory foam. Who knows if this true or not. But regardless of that, all you have is about an inch of memory foam. A layer that size is almost useless. A branded memory foam mattress will have a layer around 4 inches.3) I could measure the layer of memory foam accurately if only I could get the cover off.. but for the life of me it seems impossible. Somehow the zip is welded stuck and even with pliers, I cannot budge it. Save from destroying the cover to get it off, there is no way in. The description gleefully claims you can check the high quality memory foam - sadly I can't.4) the fumes are ferocious - even after over a week of being unpacked. Quite a concern especially for use by a toddler.Given this mattress hardly has any "give" when an adult lies on it, there is absolutely no way I would allow my toddler to use it during his critical development years, as it will "give" even less to his smaller weight/mass. Indeed, I am concerned it would actually put him off converting to a "big bed".So, why would I be so critical when so many people love this mattress? My only conclusion is that perhaps a lot of folk don't really know any better - i.e. have been on something so awful that this seems better. Given that most bed companies tend to quote that most people are putting up with really bad mattresses, maybe that's actually true. I have been sleeping on memory foam mattresses now for over 10 years, and have used 3 different ones in that time. All are better than this and all have several inches memory foam layer on top. All of them state the weight they are suitable for, and consequently deliver a luxurious sleeping experience. In comparison, this mattress is like sleeping on a camping mat.

A value for money mattress.Thinner than expected, ideal for a child, not much good for an adult or you will feel the base through it. Not ideal to solve back problems because it needs to be twice as thick to support you.

Lovely comfortable mattress, using in out camper van so not daily use but no problems so far 👍🏻

This is my 2nd one of these mattresses and they are very good for occasional use, I prefer my Eve mattress for daily use, but for the price this is well worth it.
