This is a fairly large piece which means it should cover the biggest and beefiest of shoulders when being used. The design is ingenious because if you have ever had to put an icepack on your shoulder you know the two biggest problems are covering the area you want covered and having it sit in a way that it stays where you want it. The ice liquid inside is fairly thick and generous (good) and it is soft, pliable and comfortable against skin. It will get VERY cold and stay cold for longer than most first aid ice packs so be aware of that when using. I would recommend.

I was extremely disappointed in this, especially given I had previously owned one of these. The very first time I used it in the Microwave, it popped and was ruined. After already have owned one, I knew to heat it up less time than recommended, because it may pop……this one did not matter. I purchased this one to replace my first one, which also popped, but only after several uses. I have a few issues that “young and dumb” left me older and not quite as quick as I once was……I have broken several bones, had multiple joints replaced, Spine, Neck and more, and this really was very useful the FIRST one I purchased…..although that too popped and before time recommendation……..I also have used this from the freezer…..I do love these, just wish they lasted a little longer. I will however continue to purchase this item, because it really does make a difference that much! I would have given it 5 Stars, but the popping only brought it down to a 4….maybe I got ones defected?

I like this because you can freeze it in the freezer or put it in the microwave it stays on my knee or it can be used on your shoulder or sit on it. It’s nice and flat when it’s frozen and it lasts a long time before it thaws out. I get a lot of relief using this and it’s very easy to use. You just put a towel in between you and the compress. it’s comfortable and it never leaks. The price was a good value. i would recommend this to those who need it for sports injuries or sore muscles for pain relief. Its flexible and bends around you body part and works well.

This is my second time purchasing this item and I will likely buy more in the future. This item is made well, very durable, can take a beating, and is the perfect shape and size. I love the way it fits securely into my shoulder brace so well. It also stays cold or hot for much longer than other hot/cold packs I’ve purchased. It’s also great for knees, upper back, and ankles!

The pack is great by itself heats up nicely and stays warm for about 25 min, I would have gave it 5 stars but I bought it to wear with the shoulder brace and it stays in place for about 5 min then slides out. Got tired of having to keep putting it back in and just gave up on it.
