Not bad. The picture quality isn't up to the mark, but the human detection is good. Can't say it's feature-rich or anything, but it has a decent app that isn't laggy. Connectivity is fine. It gets the job done. Good value for money if priced around ₹3,000. They also provide a CCTV warning sticker along with it, which is a thoughtful touch.

The cameras work well in the TrueCloud Plus app, but the advertised Alexa integration does not work as instructed. I successfully linked my account in the Alexa mobile app, but Alexa could not discover any cameras. When I contacted Trueview support, they claimed an Alexa device was required, which was not clearly explained in the app's instructions. The setup guidance is misleading and incomplete. Please provide accurate instructions and ensure Alexa compatibility is clearly stated before purchase.

Using this outdoor camera since more than a month. It's placed outdoors and working well in all kinds of weather. No issue in rain so far. The camera quality is quite good in HD mode and also records audio. Live streaming of video and audio is very good with good application interface. Supports human detection and tracking to trigger event based recording, saving memory card space. You also get an option to view color video stream at night using the white light option that lits a white led on th camera.The most important feature for which i buy trueview cameras is the RTSP streaming option that allows me to record videos in a different and remote hardware running cctv recording softwares like motion eye.

In terms of build quality, alarms, motion sensors, night vision, and blah blah blah... it’s a good product. But man, when it comes to the mobile and desktop apps, it really struggles.First of all, it’s a huge pain to connect to the mobile app. And if it unfortunately loses power or disconnects from the internet, it does a lot of drama to get it back online. Also, it lags badly over Wi-Fi. My best advice is to just use a physical LAN cable for the internet—wiring it directly completely fixes the lag.If you are planning to use this in a shop and don’t have an inverter, you absolutely must arrange a power backup for both the camera and the Wi-Fi. You have two options here:Option 1: Connect both devices to a regular desktop UPS. The only thing is you have to keep it on all the time, and it will beep loudly whenever the electricity cuts out.Option 2: Buy a separate mini UPS just for the router and camera. This works silently so it doesn’t give a hint to intruders or thieves that you are still watching them, but it needs some extra wiring and effort to set up.Honestly, I tried both and wasted my money on Option 2. I’m finally happy with Option 1. If that loud beeping during power cuts isn’t a big deal for you, just go with Option 1 and plug in a LAN cable. Save yourself the extra cash and headache!

I would suggest that the seller include the RTSP streaming details in the product description or documentation. This would make integration with third-party software much easier and save users considerable time during setup.During testing, I found the following two RTSP streams:1. This is especially useful for customers integrating the camera with Home Assistant, VLC, NVR software and other third-party applications.I spent some time identifying and testing the available streams. Providing these details in the documentation would help other customers avoid unnecessary trial and error.This is intended as constructive feedback. The camera's RTSP capability is useful, and better documentation would make that capability much easier for customers to use.
