Bought for hubby. Loves how it looks. Fit well and colors are muted which is nice.

This is the second Vietnam Veteran's Cap that I have had from this brand... The embroidery stitching is excellent, and the quality of the cap is impressive... I have had the first cap for about 3 years and have washed it three or four time during that time... Eventually the fabric came apart on the peak of the cap as a result of being washed... I suppose that is to be expected as "normal wear"... The old cap still fits well and the embroidery is not damaged in any way... I guess it was just time to replace it for a new one... I have had a lot of positive comments on this cap, and will return to this bran for any and all replacements in the years to come... Semper Fidelis - Semper Paratus - U.S.M.C. Vietnam '65-'66

Expected to look like the faded one I lost in an auto accident, but that was too beat up. Thought it would be a much lighter green drab color (again, old cap was beat).Didn't expect the front reinforcement inside the cap. Thought it would be more relaxed/softer.Still, I do like the cap, construction, material, etc., glad to have it.just have to wear it in the rain and sun awhile

The quality of workmanship is good. No complaints.

Like most Vietnam vets, I came home, put my uniform in the closet and, in my case, went to college on the G.I.Bill -- leaving that episode in my life mostly secret and behind me for a very long time. We lost that war, and nobody was interested in hearing about it. Now I'm 68, and proud for having served in Vietnam. I've been to the 'Wall' at least 6 times. Too many died in a war that we should never have entered, and the loss was not the fault of the soldiers who served there. I am sad over what the war cost us, and ashamed of a government that lied and failed to support us, and for waging a war that never had a plan to win, while supporting a corrupt Saigon government. While I'll never forget the crackling sound that AK-47 rounds made when they passed my ears, I also would not trade the humility and life experience I gained by being there, with some great guys --- experiences that made the rest of my life much easier to cope with, for nearly 50 years. I was lucky. Yes, I wear this hat with pride.

I had a black Vietnam Veteran cap (made of poly material) that I wore for a while, but even in winter here in Texas, my head felt like it was being baked. This new cap that I bought from Amazon is much cooler to wear (cool as in my head does not cook underneath as it did with the black cap) and I like the fact that it is a little more subtle than all the black caps that are available these days. This cap is made of cotton and breathes better than my black poly cap, thus the comfort level is wonderful. The cap fits and rides well on my head and is easily adjusted to make it even more snug on days when the wind is really howling. The velcro strap in the back of the cap is so much better than the plastic adjustable strap with holes on the black cap I have. As a result, this new cap is more comfortable and a lot easier to make a snug fit than caps having the plastic "snap-in-the-hole" method of adjustment. This cap arrived very quickly in a sturdy box and was pristine and undamaged when it arrived.
