Excellent performer
Decided to take the plunge and buy this PC on the recommendation from a relative who also has one. The last PC I had wasn't gaming orientated and would struggled with anything half decent, plus i do a lot of video editing and that was proving slow and cumbersome. Also being a recognised name I preferred to put my money with a manufacturer I know rather than a 3rd party brand i've never heard of.WOW, the performance of this PC is staggering. I've only tested it with one game so far but it has no issues stomping up the power to delivery highly detailed smooth graphics - I look forward to trying lots more games!I've also tried out video editing and this is also a massive improvement... no more lag and super fast encoding. You certainly notice its working hard as you can heard the fans race up to higher speed to keep the electronics as cool as possible. Some folk complain about the noisy fans, but it doesn't bother me at the moment but if it does I can always swap them for different ones. When the GPU kicks in I notice the power usage growns from 80W up to 350W which I guess is to be expected when the graphics cards is a monster! The build quality is very good. The case is neat and the glass cover on the side is a nice touch. I like how internal 3.5" drive compartments are available to accomodate 2 extra disks if you have them and with that installation is straight forward. There were limited instructions with the PC, but I was able to google and find the user guide.I am no sure the other negative review around 'value for money' is justified as I felt this was quite a reasonalbe price on a black friday deal even if it was only a 4% cut in price. When I looked at what else was out there this package seemed to be good value for money and beating other retailers. All in all a great purchase!

I feel robbed
I bought 2 Acer desktop PCs through Amazon at the end of January 2024. They were clearly labeled and the Amazon webpage even had a link to the Acer store page. I dearly wish that instead of reading multiple favourable reviews that I'd researched more thoroughly. One of the computers overheats easily and the fans have to work overtime when playing most games on this advertised "gaming PC" and has been this way from day one.The other, after 6 months refuses to boot up at all, even as far as the BIOS splash screen and is in clear need of repair. Ok, these things can happen so it's not a problem....or so I thought.I contacted Acer support through the link on their website and entered the product serial number. Within a couple of days I received an email informing me that the PC was built in Malaysia and they could not book it on their system "sorry for the inconvenience".No contact number given and no advice on what to do next. So I emailed back to ask them if I can have some contact details. I was simply told to "Google it". They simply washed their hands of it as it's not their problem. Yes, the official support link from the Acer website cannot help me with a problem on an Acer system. Incredible.Rather than trying to locate which reseller or manufacturer in Malaysia may be willing to help I've taken my grievances to Amazon who are at least a reputable company in terms of customer support and after sales care.I now avoid Acer at all costs and advise family and friends to do the same. They act like a dodgy market trader who peddles overpriced, underwhelming systems that easily break down and leave the feeling of being conned.Disgraceful.

Shockingly poor quality control
I have no idea how this computer passed the quality checks. The layout of the USB ports did not align with the openings on the back of the case, so I couldn't plug anything in.Can't comment on how the item performs, as I would only have been able to use the single USB port on the front- I would have only been able to use a mouse OR keyboard, not both at once. I could have used a USB hub I guess, but I shouldn't have to do that with a brand new item.Amazon refunded me, which is great, but I was really shocked by a big brand like ACER letting a PC like this out of the factory.

Don't buy this, it is massively overpriced.
Please do your research. This is way overpriced for the GPU/CPU you get plus a HDD? LOL 2015 called, it wants its hard drive back. If you can't build it yourself go browse specialist stores like cyber power or scan.

I feel scammed
At first I was pleased with my new computer, after a couple months I slowly began doing my research and ended up going down the pc rabbit whole and I felt such deep regret that I would purchase such a poorly priced prebuilt for £1000, the CPU is worth £120 and the GPU is worth £280, what is even worse is that I only received 500gb SSD so essentially I payed £1000 for a £500-600 product at best, avoid prebuilds in general if you do not know what your buying otherwise you'll make the same mistake I made.
