Laminated Ecuador Map by Borch (English Edition)

Moon's division of accomodations into price categories was very helpful in planning our trip to Ecuador. I also liked the detailed maps of the 4 regions; it gave more detail about roads than the countrywide map we ordered from another source. I also appreciated their candor about less than positive safety and appeal in some areas. Will order from Moon when traveling elsewhere.

A small size with a 1:1,000,000 scale means you better have good eyesight or a magnifier. But durable and basically serviceable for major route finding. Useless for details. (Google and Apple maps work if you can get within cell range in the major cities and towns)

this was the perfect map and perfect size with nice lamination to hang in the wall without getting fingerprints everywhere. it shows a ton of cities and even very small ones so we are able to keep track of our child while he is living there.

An excellent map of the entire country, along with smaller detailed maps of the Galapagos, Quito and vicinity, Quito city center, Guayaquil, and Cuenca. Place name index of the country and street name index of larger cities. Lamination is excellent - no complaints at all. I'm going to Ecuador in two weeks so won't be able to comment on accuracy until after I get back.

This map was exactly what I was looking for. I also purchased one for a friend. We are planning a trip there and this gives us major cities and roads and quite a few of the smaller areas. It also shows national parks, lakes, rivers, etc. Being laminated will keep it in good condition for a long time.

The globe is perfect--just what I was looking for. I am using it for a table centerpiece for a "Bon Voyage" party this weekend. But...one of the pieces that holds the globe to the stand arrived broken. It's too late to exchange it, since the party is this Saturday. My husband thinks he can mend the piece so that it will work. Needless to say, I was disappointed. In the scheme of things, it's really not important; just frustrating to have one more detail to deal with before the party. The globe of the world, however, is great. Even shows the mountain ranges as elevated.

The map is attractive, durable, but lacks much usefulness for on the ground use. We were wanting more of a road map and found this map to be wanting. Equador is building new roads very quickly. We hardly used it, because it was outdated and was only good to find out regional areas of interest or direction.

Sehr praktische Karte für Ecuador.Für die großen Straßen und Überblick ist es ganz fein.Da es nicht nur aus Papier besteht, habe ich dieses Mal trotz knicken auch keiner Löcher in der Karte bekommen.Für eine grobe Navigation ganz hilfreich. Aber ohne App würde ich mich in Ecuador nicht bewegen wollen.

Wir suchten eine Landkarte für unseren Urlaub in Ecuador und enschieden uns für diese folienbeschichtete Karte, da sie bei häufigem Gebrauch haltbarer ist- die Ausgabe hat sich gelohnt. Gut waren die Einzelkarten.
