Great item, works a treat.

Does what I need it to do and very reasonably priced
This is for the Neewer wired remote timer release and I'm using it with a Canon 1D mark iii.I've tested all the functions. Everything works as specified. I chose the wired connection as it's a simpler set up and I don't need to trigger the camera from a distance. The only criticism I have is that the battery cover doesn't have a very positive catch on it, so it can slide off easily. Not a big deal at £13 when the wired remote (without timer) from canon is over a hundred pounds.

Great value
I've got 2 of these, one for my EOS 7D and one for my EOS 1200, both do what I want them to do.I have no issues with the fact that there is is no off function, I just remove the batteries!

Does not fit canon d2000 as advertised
I bought this at same time of ordering my canon d2000 as this was advertised as compatable, however on recieving this item it does not have the required connection.
