Serves the purpose very well. A reasonably huge display for a room. I use it in the kitchen and it is visible across the whole area. Good point is that it works very well on battery and can be used as a proper travel clock (although big). The display has backlighting too.The plastic and the buttons looks quite cheap but it is not too bad.Update: Battery performance is quite poor! Without the voice-activated lighting on or any alarm use, the Energizer alkaline batteries that I used only lasted 2 months!
