Worth watching
Three interesting stories that are well acted and directed. It's not so much a horror anthology but rather a collection of dark tales exploring insanity (or more correctly, mental illness).I noted one criticism stating that the writers don't understand mental illness/psychosis....... I think that's unfair. These are stories that attempt to get inside the head of sufferers, asking Why? What? How?Questions to which no one truly has definitive answers. It's a very decent film imo.

Very poor
Great actors in this movie but the story lines are silly and pretty boringly predictable. One day someone who knows about the real psychodynamics of psychosis is going to write a proper script for a film like this. Alas the person who wrote this one knew diddly squat about the subject.

Great acting can't save an absolutely terrible film
I'm left thinking, "What was the point?". So many utterly unanswered questions, stories that finish without actually ending and incredibly slow. Misleading title, misleading imagery, there's nothing about this I can recommend. Malcolm Macdowell serves as a connection between the stories, but other than that, his role is pointless. Watch anything else.

Why Robert? Why?!
This film for me dragged like no other, I don't know what it is about asylum based films but they never live up to expectations. They always sound so promising but ultimately they're just a massive let down.I thought a film with Robert Englund in, even the worst one, wouldn't ever be this bad. The only positives I can say is that Robert's acting was some of the best in the film and the dolls in the first short are freaky, I liked them!

Three little stories...
A low key short story collection in which Lou Diamond Phillips gives off an impressive performance. Hence the three stars.
