Got my colon moving but I can’t handle the taste.

I ordered this because where I usually get my herb from it takes about a month and a half to come to me, but it is authentic. I wanted to order this one to receive it faster while I wait for the one that I’m positive is authentic. What I can say is the look and smell is 100% different than what I’m used to for this herb Cascara Sagrada. Honestly, I was afraid to drink the tea because I was so off put by the smell, I know that it’s supposed to be bitter but usually it has a very distinct smell that this does not have this kind of just smells like somebody chipped, some wood off of a tree and put it in a bag, like a random tree.

Strong bitter flavor but it does the job helps with gas

Most large wood bark.The pictures of this items shows cut and chopped. The item is in rough bark strips 5 inches to 6 inches long. Instructions state put a tablespoon in a basket strainer in a mug or teapot, No way you can do that with the size. Very disappointed.

Tried this two days later felt sick but alas nothing moved. Used one large strip of wood to brew for four minutes or so. Combined with instant lemonade since it took the edge off this was very bitter on its own. Most of the bag didn't come in small enough pieces to put in a tea ball. The amount was good for the price. For its freshness and strength it should do something to someone else but I'm not usual. Its back to colon cleanse for me.

This should weight 4 oz or 113 grams. It’s actually 3 3/8 oz or 97 grams.

Looks like messy bark clippings, tastes like bitter, Pinesol, potpourri (?) not like "cherries". It gave me a headache. This is either a bad batch or a joke from Mexico. There's no way people drink this.

I had high hopes,I read so much about this and wanted to cleanse my system. I prepared the tea using the bark and nothing, I took it for 2 days in fact I emptied my bowels less. I am so so so disappointed. It grieves me to wonder if this is a fake product. I dislike writing poor review I just wanted relief.
