I traded up for the common domestic version (which had broken a time retained screw and was impossible to get at to replace) and well worth the extra cost. SO much better than the basic model.

Excellent machine, better than standard Scorpion, very sturdy and easy to use.

I used this to cut some logs and before I finished the job the blade stopped moving and the motor wasn't driving anything. It is supposed to be for cutting wood so it should last longer than this. This is the second time I have had problems with a Black and Decker product. Theyre just not made to last. I will be buying Bosch from now on.
