I don't know how long these will last and really, that's the part that matters most. I've seen reviews on other sites where peyote have been using them for years though and I have no reason to think that they are wrong. Bearing in mind that I paid £11 for them I am more than happy. You can hear the pcb talking about inside the case of you shake it but it doesn't matter, they weren't made for shaking. They've made some of my raspberry pis a fair bit better and I'm more than happy with my purchase.

We use these SSD drives to repurpose older laptops for pupils to use at home. Funding comes from charity, I just hope they don't run out or the price goes up it has risen from £10.50 to £13+ already in a short space of time

A great buy, I used this item to add with my storages for my budget laptop and worked good

as soon as it arrived i checked the speeds and got 1/3 of the speed i get on my 10 year old hard drive. also it is very light so i suspect it is just a usb inside a case as I have seen them on youtube before

Great item very cheap, not sure how long it will last. Time will tell. This is a sata 2 ssd.

Just checked - I have three of these already and the oldest is abou 14 months. All working well and surprisingly fast, cannot tell difference in daily use compared to Samsung Evo's. Hightly recommended, although the prices are going down so worth comparing to other brands.

I replaced the old hard drive in a 3 year old HP laptop with Windows and installed "Cloudready" the free version of Chromium OS.We now have a robust and faster laptop very similar to a Chromebook. It is faster, has better battery life and we do not get the problems of running Windows anymore.Well worth the "upgrade".
