I love this hat. A lot of people are complaining about these strap on the back being too long, and the clasp not holding. The simple fix is to fold the strap back on itself back into the clasp and it locks in beautifully and holds perfectly. Obviously it also takes up the slack people have complained about. Very comfortable hat, love it.

A nice ball cap but is not wax or oiled. If it is barely. I bought the Outback cap. Now it’s oiled and waterproof. This hat is not. Also the adjustment strap is extra long with no place to slide the extra in. It has to be cut with scissors. It looks cheap.

Water repellent and comfortable!

I wanted a really nice gift that was made in America. found this Stormy Kromer baseball cap that stated it was waxed & could be worn in rain. checked out the co. been around for like idk over 100 years. thought great perfect! picked the green color. payed $40. more than my hockey hats, but hey it was for my uncle. it arrived quickly no problem there. problem number 1- when opened the package, thought geesh for that much $ you think they could have sprung for something nicer that a clear plastic bag! 2- looks awful. has crease lines in the top part of hat that make it look dirty. it may have something to do with the wax, but idk how to correct it and would be more willing to try if.. big IF, 3-the bill was sown on correctly! one side is sown high than the other, so when you are looking straight at the hat you can notice. believe it to be a real stormy kromer, maybe a second? don't believe this came direct from Stormy Kromer, check and recheck. lesson learned so disappointing sending back.

I own several Stormy Kromer hats and this one is a terrible representation of the company. The brass hardware will not stay clasped and comes open. The tab sticks straight to the side. The hat itself is very nice, but the design of the adjustable tab needs work.

The logo is sewn on off by a 1/16”. Very noticeable. Returning.
