Good quality, great starter set
So many choices and can be confusing. I finally decided to go with this package. I'm 190#, 5' 10". I bought the larger size for upto 250#, I think was the weight, taking into consideration, clothing, hydration pack with 3L water, snacks, assortment of safety equipment (first aid, fire starter, light, etc) would be pushing my total weight upwards in the 220 range.I only used these on packed trails, so really easy to use, just wanted to get use to the feel. I did try in deep powder, you do sink of course, but at least manageable. It comes with a set of hiking poles, which I must admit are much better than my original hiking poles I used for summer hiking. The bag is a must, if only so you have something to put the shoes back in when they're covered in snow so it doesn't melt all over the backseat or where ever, and it's nice to have to carry around. They've held up well this year. I only managed about 4 trips, each being 3-6 miles each.Pros: Good package deal, great hiking poles, awesome value.Cons: the buckling system can be a bit difficult at first, especially when wearing larger hiking boots like I have pictured. But that's the only thing I could think of as a "downside" others may love this style of straps. They're definitely worth the investment if you're looking to start showshoeing and get a feel for it without investing hundreds of dollars only to find out you hate it. Take them out on some groomed trails at first and move up from there.

I bought these snowshoes to start as a complete beginner
I took these out in my Central Wisconsin environment 3 times this year. They were easy to attach, set up and use. My wife and I had fun and got some much needed Winter exercise and outdoor time. I like that they came with poles and really like the carrying bag too. No regrets. I am a beginner and I would definitely suggest these to a beginner and if I had to guess, these would be acceptable to someone with a good amount of snowshoeing experience too.

Bummer no more!
UPDATE: I reached out to the company and explained my situation. Initially I was frustrated because they do not have weekend support, so felt quite adrift. When they did get in touch first thing on Monday, they were very accommodating. I got my new poles and luckily there was still enough snow on the ground to give them a go. Once I sat down to put them on, I realized they were very intuitive and easy to get into. The only thing support had to explain was the metal clamps at the heel, that are for use on hills only. As far as the snowshoeing experience itself, given I am a beginner I honestly have no idea how they compare. I find them easy to walk in, and they seem to do the job they are intended to do.Thanks especially to Ryan at Winterial for following up so thoroughly to be sure I was happy.I only gave four stars because of the initial issue with the purchase. As far as the product itself, it is worthy of five in my opinion. My original review:I am so disappointed! We have perfect weather for snowshoeing right now with over a foot of powdery snow, but rain may ruin it all next week. So I was really excited to place this order, and (I thought) get it yesterday. I was looking forward to spending my day today testing them out. Sadly, when I opened the package I found no poles! There are also no instructions on how to put the snowshoes on, leading me to wonder if this was a return that no one inspected. Of course the vendor is closed today, and Amazon's only recourse is to return/replace the entire order. Meaning, there will likely be no snow by the time I get the replacement. What a bummer! The snowshoes look cool, and the included bag would be handy for travel. Aside from that, I have no idea if the product is any good since I can't try them out.

Happy with my purchase
I have never snowshoed before and have no idea what brand or size to get so I went on amazon choice recommendation. I was so happy with my purchase. These are very light and easy to on and off. The bag is also a nice thing to have to store them in a trunk off your car. I did not use the poles so I cannot give my opinion on them.

Great snowshoes for the money.
I paid $65 for these and you can’t beat the price. I’m new to snowshoeing but have hiked 4 miles in 9” snow without any issues. The poles are great. The bindings work great, but the rear strap/lock could be a little better. Two thumbs up

Good shoes. help reporting delivery
The media could not be loaded. Good shoes Delivery was very unprofessional. Left in puddle of water to get soaked. Everything is soaked, and this is supposed to be a Christmas present. Now I have to air everything out to dry.

These are exceptional!
The media could not be loaded. This is my first and only pair of snow shoes to be honest so it's rather difficult to say in terms of snow shoes just how good or not good they really are! My impressions as a snow shoeing novice is that they are easy to put on and bind, walk in snow whether powdery or a better snow pack, hold up well, remove them, use the poles, and pack it in the bag they came in! The bind where the snow shoe and the part that keeps your foot connected gives way in the back which caught me by surprise! I don't know if all snow shoes do this?

Great overall deal!
Very easy to use. Like the sturdiness, light weight, and fit.

plastic bindings-riveted on
I reviewed another brand (RKing) but these ones (Winterial) have riveted bindings so they won't fall apart in the snow. The bindings and buckles are made of plastic so be careful how rough you are with them. Plastic cracks in the extreme cold. The bindings are small so you are forced to wear lest warm boots. You won't get your Sorels in these bindings.
