- DMH-WT3800NEX 9" Capacitive Touchscreen Floating Display Car Stereo

I have a 2006 Ford Explorer (that I bought brand new back in 2006) and I absolutely adore her so while I can afford to buy a new car (and will be buying myself a "fun" two seater), I swore that I'm keeping her forever. But we had replaced the original factory radio/CD head unit with a cheap and very crappy digital unit about 3 years ago. And I hated that thing (would randomly not connect to my phone, would start with incredibly high volume, and had terrible sound). My Explorer has a great speaker system, but that unit was NOT doing it. My husband ordered this "open box" Pioneer unit for my birthday and it fits beautifully!! It floats just above the place where the original unit was, but looks fantastic! And the SOUND QUALITY is so, so good. It connects automatically to my phone as soon as I start up and the screen feels massive compared to what I had before. I used quotes around "open box" because you would never know this was an open box unit. It was in the original packaging (down to the bags/packing material around each individual component) and packed perfectly. And it arrived in two days despite the original shipping estimate of 1 week. Very, very happy with this!

Great multimedia unit, looks great in my Sprinter.

Looks great, sounds great, and works great. The only issue is the apple CarPlay doesn’t always auto connect on wireless, not a huge issue being that it’s easy to manually connect but it be nice if it worked every time . It honestly has so much power I had to replace my stock speakers. I recommend it for anyone. I can’t comment on android auto since I don’t have an android but I’m sure it works good. EDIT: So my IPhone has been auto connecting every time with out fail after IOS 26. So apparently the stereo is fine and doesn’t have issues with connectivity. It’s just was a issue with The IOS of the IPhone.

Great product and the installation brackets and screws are all in the package. Wiring has basically every option included. Wiring diagrams are understandable for install. Wiring also is pre made and had connections for a back up camera. Really like the package. My installation is for a 70s VW bus.

What should be a good radio just is not. Its plagued with horrible problems and poor specs. It disconnects consistently from wireless android and apple car play. Its a 2v out on 500-600 dollar radio.. Like at that price point that should be a 4v output. And the fact its no were on the ad for it is kinda upsetting to begin with. The thing some times takes an excessive amount of time to connect or even just start up its infuriating sometimes. There is no value in a deck that looks like this and is spec'd the way it is. 4v should be standard anymore High end stereos are pushing 5-6v anyway. for not much more money But to get 4v in a pioneer you need to spend 300 bucks more on the next model up. even when nearly every other spec is the same as the 500 dollar one it was not worth it..... That is just craptastic almost on ever level. 500 dollar deck shouldn't look like a dang Aston martin but the with pinning of a honda civic. wish i could give this a half or less star. Go else where for this money

Definitely more bang for the buck 10 out of 10 recommend!! Pioneer did the big one with this radio an it fills the whole radio slot looks like a big iPad in the dash!! Seller was very reasonable priced and pretty quick with shipping!! I’d definitely do business with them again

Changed my whole cars vibe🤟🏿🔥.. ima still give it 5 stars but the app for it sucks . But I have way more options for tuning

Works great for our 2002 GMC Sierra. The 2002 has a weird 1.5 DIN size so we were worried about fitment but the adjustability in the head unit mounting made it great. The only concern is the shift level is very close to the screen ONLY in park. So this is not a deal breaker you just can't have anything in your hand when shifting into park or you will hit the radio screen. We added a park break input so we can "allegedly" run video anytime. I also really liked the old skool USB option so I could add a mini flash drive for music and videos.

After usingit for a month i was wondering why there are less features, offcourse there is a better one like 7600 but even i have dmh z9250 6.8 inch unit which has a lot of features. Auto EQ, wireless mirroring, sd card slot, hdmi, dsp features from old p9000 or 7250 etc. This one is not a disappointment but it could have been better for the price.

Amazing sound quality and all the features I was looking for. And easy install

Llego a tiempo y forma .Lo que no me gusta es que las huellas se notan demasiado en la pantalla y el alcance del bluetooth es muy limitado, también tarda un poco al emparejarse al momento de encender el auto pero por lo demás, es un excelente equipo y la navegación es muy buena.
